I wanted to scream or cry for help like I always do when I felt helpless, but both of those options would be useless to try as I was in a forest in the middle of nowhere. I had gotten my breath back and was sitting against the tree Jacob had thrown me at.

My back hurt like crazy from being thrown with such force and I was lucky to have survived that or my back could've been severely broken. I didn't know how long I'd been sitting in my spot, but it felt like forever. I watched a few birds chirping happily from their perch high above my head and closed my eyes and sat in peace for a moment soaking everything in.

A rustle in the bushes not far from me, snapped me to alertness. I was up in an instant and wincing in pain as my back protested from my sudden movement. I stood and listened, silence answered me, when an arrow flew at me with lightning speed and I was narrowly missed seeing the arrow had made its mark in the tree and save me from where it was two inches from my face.

"You should be more quiet next time love, your position was given up by your ungraceful standup," a male voice said to me. A cry of relief left my lips as I fell back against the tree. Marcus Callihan came out of his hiding place fifteen feet from where I stood.

"Marcus!" I cried happily and rushed to his arms.

"Why are you out here alone?" Marcus asked me as I felt his hand brush my hair.

"Me and Jacob escaped from Kristillier, he has Liam and I wanted to go back and save him, but Jacob fought me, then left," I explained.

"Why didn't you go get help?" Marcus asked.

"Um....hello. We are in the middle of nowhere. How could I get any help? Besides, no help from anyone wouldn't be able to stop a very powerful Original vampire," I said, as I pulled away from Marcus. He sighed heavily and rubbed his chin, which I saw had a light stubble of facial hair over it. I laughed softly, and Marcus looked down at me.

"What's so funny?" he asked almost offended.

"When did you decide to quit shaving?" I asked trying to stop another laugh.

"I see you find it quite funny, well what we're dealing with here isn't very funny at all," he said gruffly. I stopped laughing then and remembered Liam in the hands of Kristillier. I cursed quietly and ran a hand through my golden brown hair.

"We have to get back, Liam's in trouble," I said, fear swirling in my stomach. Marcus nodded and took me gently by the arm and led me the way he'd come. After some time of walking we got out to the road and Marcus uncovered his car he'd hidden with grass brushes and branches.

We got in and Marcus started the car up and we were off. As we drove I noticed Marcus going well over the speed limit of 55 mph, but I bothered not to say anything since we had a problem to deal with.

Marcus noticed me looking at the speedometer.

"It's ok, I got the car cloaked by a witch so the car can't be seen," he said with a slight confidence in his voice. We drove back to Kristillier's and chills ran up my arms as we drove into the driveway. I took a shaky breath and once the car was off, I exited it and shut the door.

Marcus and I walked quickly to the mansion and got there undetected. Marcus got to the front door first and went in before me, surveying the area to make sure there wouldn't be an ambush. When I went in behind Marcus, I bumped into him from his sudden stop.

I looked ahead and saw why. Kristillier sat in a black leather armchair with a fancy glass held in his hand. In the glass, contained blood.

"Ah, look who has returned. So nice to see you again Anna," Kristiller purred, with a devilish gleam in his eyes. "You've done well Marcus, here's your reward," Kristillier said and tossed Marcus a big tied up stack of money that I saw were all $100 bills. I looked at Marcus confused, then realized it was a trap. Kristillier saw I had realized and chuckled darkly.

"M...Marcus...why would you?" I could barely get the words out from the feeling of betrayal, sadness and fear.

"I'm so sorry Anna. He offered me a great deal of money," Marcus said, looking down at me with sorrow swimming in his eyes.

"Oh, I did add another thing to your reward, Marcus," Kristillier said, getting up from his chair, he set his glass of blood down.

"What's tha-" Marcus started when Kristillier flitted towards Marcus and sank his fangs into Marcus's neck. I screamed and stumbled back as Marcus groaned in pain as Kristillier fed. Kristillier let go of Marcus and bit into his wrist, then placed it to Marcus's mouth.

Marcus fed without being told and I felt sick. When Marcus was done Kristillier stood up and turned to me, blood running down his chin. I couldn't take it anymore, I turned and sprinted to the door, but strong arms came around me and instantly stopped me in my place.

"Oh, dear, someone is trying to run from me. Bad idea," Kristillier said heavily breathing from my pulsing blood coursing through me, it excited him. In a moment the room blurred and I found myself chained to a chair with vises around my wrists and ankles, so I was immobile.

I saw Kristillier had taken me down to the chamber area where Erebus, Sebastian, and Anya laid in their caskets. A horrible frightened sob left my lips as I feared for my life, thrashing in the chair, doing myself no good. I looked up at Kristillier as he approached me with a knife and a gag.

He put the gang around my mouth so my teeth clamped the gag down between them. Tears streamed down my cheeks and Kristillier leaned down and ran his tongue across my cheek lapping the tears, causing me to let out a muffled wail.

He stroked my cheek and smiled as he looked me in the face.

"Now, since I finally have you contained, I can get your blood more easily," Kristillier purred as he turned a knob on the side of the chair that turned the vise 180 degrees, so my wrists were exposed. He ran the knife across my left wrist and I screamed, the sound muffled.

My blood ran down my wrist and Kristillier placed a vial under to catch the blood. I whimpered in pain, the cut stinging madly. I had begun to feel light headed and wondered how many ounces of blood I had lost.

My mind wandered to Liam and what Kristillier had done with and to him and it sickened me to think about it. I swallowed trying to wet my parched throat and didn't do much with the gag in my mouth. Kristillier came to my left side and checked the vial of blood.

"Half, that should do," he said. Before he removed the vial, he leaned down and licked my wound and to my amazement, it instantly closed, then he took the vial and walked over to the coffins starting as Sebastian's coffin.

Kristillier tilted the vial and let a bit of my blood fall on Sebastian's lips. Then he moved to Anya's coffin and did the same, following with Erebus. When it was done, I saw that the vial was completely empty only with blood on the inside walls of the vial.

"Now, we wait," Kristillier said. I still sat in the chair watching the coffins, waiting for the worst of my nightmares to come back and haunt my reality.

A moment later a groan was heard from one of the coffins. Sebastian sat up. He looked around and he eyes landed on me and a nasty smile curved his lips. A moment later Anya sat up and stretched. Finally Erebus sat up and Anya's head turned toward me. Anya's eyes lit up, before her haunting voice rang out.

"Hello again sister,"
