My breath caught in my throat as I felt Kristillier's fangs pierce my skin. He pulled me up into his arms and drank heavily.
"Kris stop..." Erebus said in a tense tone. Kristillier growled in response and let go of me and I fell back against the bed, my neck bleeding badly. Sebastian sniffed the air and his eyes instantly glowed red.
"Oh, she smells divine," he said in a velvet tone as he gazed over me like a piece of meat. Erebus dove at Sebastian to knock him down when Kristillier broke in.
"Erebus, that's enough," he growled turning to face him. Erebus straightened himself.
"I'm just trying to do as you told us, no feeding off her without your consent," Erebus answered.
"Ah, right, but what if I changed my mind? What if I told Sebastian secretly that he could have a taste whenever he wanted?" Kristillier asked Erebus, approaching him.
"You wouldn't change your mind brother, I know you wouldn't," Erebus said. Kristillier smirked as he met Erebus's eyes.
"Why are you suddenly protecting my little blood bag? Do you have feelings for her? I would hope not," Kristillier said with a bit of disappointment in his voice.
"She tried to save my life after I stabbed myself," Erebus said quietly.
"Ah yes, she wanted you to see the real human that you were, but who would ever want to help a monster such as yourself?" Kristiller said with a small smile.
I knew Kris had stepped over the line. Erebus lunged at Kristillier with a horrific cry, and as he did so, Sebastian went after Erebus to try and stop him. I saw my chance, I shot off the bed, almost falling over from my blood loss, but I steadied myself and ran as fast as I could.
It was too late for Sebastian or Kristillier to notice as I was already halfway down the grand staircase. I had just reached the bottom of the stairs when I heard Sebastian call from the top of the stairs.
"Anna! Get back here!" he yelled and ran after me. I kept running as I ran down to the cell area where Liam and Jacob were. I got down there and was able to lock the cell door behind me to keep Sebastian from coming down the stairs. I hurried over to the cells and found Liam and Jacob in side by side cells.
"Liam! Jacob!" I cried and rushed over. Both men looked up and saw me, relief flooded over them.
"Anna, you're-" Liam started before his eyes landed on my bloody neck.
"Anna, your neck. God what happened?" Jacob said.
"I'll explain later," I said quickly as I looked for a key to get Liam and Jacob out.
"Don't waste your time looking for a key love, you won't find one," came a voice from the darkness. Marcus walked out from where he'd been standing jingling the keys in his hand. I gulped as I watched him approach when I then also heard footsteps come down the stairs.
Kristillier, Sebastian and Erebus came down and surveyed the scene. Marcus grabbed me and pulled me away from Liam and Jacob's cells. I watched Kristillier approached Liam's cell with a sinister smile on his lips.
"Liam, I want you to turn off your humanity," Kristillier said smoothly looking Liam in the eye.
"No!" Jacob cried from his cell.
"I won't," Liam said sternly, a muscle in his jaw tensed.
"Liam, I am asking you to turn it off, turn everything off," Kristillier said in that same smooth tone.
"No," Liam said fighting back. Kristillier was getting tired.
"TURN IT OFF!" Kristillier roared in Liam's face. I then saw Liam close his eyes and when he opened them again, his eyes and the gaze within them were empty.
"What did you do to him?" I asked Kristillier fear hinting in my voice. Kristillier faced me.
"I just turned his entire sane world around," he answered. He nodded to Marcus and Marcus threw the cell keys to Kristillier. Kristillier then unlocked Liam's cell and Liam stepped out. Kristillier then came over to me and took me from Marcus and put me in front of him.
"Now, my newly made ripper, how would you like to drink from your lover?" Kristillier asked as he moved my hair away from my neck. Liam tilted his head to the side and a slow smile spread across his lips. I then watched to my own horror as Liam's eyes turned a darker red than I'd ever seen them and without warning, Liam rushed at me and I screamed as I felt his fangs pierce my neck.
Liam ripped me away from Kristillier and took me in his arms, drinking more heavily than Kristillier did.
"L....Liam stop..." I pleaded weakly. I should've known right there that I couldn't tell Liam anything now that his switch was flipped, but I didn't care. I was going to try and tell Liam to stop.
He didn't stop and I was getting weaker by the minute. I caught Jacob's horrified eyes over Liam's shoulder and a tear streaked down my cheek as I waited for my end to come.
I could feel myself slipping away, going deeper and deeper into the darkness when I heard Kristillier telling Liam to stop and it seemed almost impossible for Liam to stop, but he reluctantly let up.
Kristillier then took me up into his arms, cradling me and began walking up the stone stairs. My eyes were fluttering, just wanting to close badly, but I forced myself to stay conscience.
Kristillier got us to the grand staircase and began going up them and finally got us to the top. He carried me back to his room, got the door opened and went inside. He laid me down on the bed gently and sat down next to me. He sighed and brought his gaze to my own.
"Finally, the moment I've longed for. To turn you into an Original vampire and call you mine," Kristillier said joyfully.
"You make me sick," I spat with my remaining strength that I had. Kristillier caressed my cheek softly with his thumb gazing over me with a small amount of sympathy.
"Soon I'll have you as mine...forever" Kristillier purred, his emerald green eyes glowed like a cats. He leaned down and quickly took a small sip of my blood from my neck, then bit into his wrist and put it to my lips.
His blood seeped into my mouth and entered my system. Then Kristillier took my head in his hands and snapped my neck. The transition into an Original vampire was surprisingly quick and soon after I became aware of my surroundings and opened my eyes to a new world.
