Tunog ng isang malakas na sampal ang umikot sa office.
"Huh, that hurt. I guess you don't know me." ani Richard, the fiancé of the heiress. "Who do you think you are to slap me."
"Kilalang kilala kita, at huwag mo ako ma-ingles-ingles. Nasa pilipinas tayo, mayaman ka man o hindi, magtagalog ka pag kausap mo ako." sagot ni Reina. Ako sana ang reresbak sa biglang pagpasok ni Richard sa office ni Reina, pero si Reina lang pala ang katapat niya.
"How dare you raise your fucking voice on me?" sabi ni Richard. Why keep being a stubborn shit, bro. Hindi ka tatagal pag lalo mo pina-init ulo ni Reina.
"Layas. Ah, saglit pala, hindi ka ata marunong umintindi ng tagalog. Sige, just for you. Get the hell out of here." eka ni Reina. Lakas ng prowess mo boss.
Dahil sa biglaang pagpunta ni Richard dito ay na-alarma ang Executive Assistant, ipina-alam nito ang nangyari sa dad ni Reina, and who's that? Chairman Straff, ang may-ari ng DT groups, ang isa sa pinakamalalaking Apparel Company sa bansa.
Nagdabog si Richard at kinalabog ang pinto, "You're giving off a very rude personality here, being an heiress of the company. This won't serve your reputation nicely.. You'll regret raising your voice at me." sabi niya at tuluyan nang lumabas ng office.
Hindi nagtagal at nagring ang desk phone sa table ni Reina, "Miss. Reina Straff, you are needed in the Chairman's Office."
Napaupo si Reina sa kanyang upuan at tumingin sa bintana. "Ain't this a very great day to crash a neighboring company." sabi niya. Napatikom ang labi ko at napatingin sa aking orasan.
"It's game over in 20 minutes, what do you want to do?" I asked. I tried to look the coolest while saying that.
"3... 2... 1. Ok, stand up, William. It's game on.."
Napadila ako sa ngipin ko at tumayo. "Let's go, partner."
Reina led the way. Mas maganda na ring siya ang mauna, papuntang office ng dad niya.
And there we are, in front the doors of all mightly, Chairman Straff. Kumatok siya at ipinaanunsyo ang kanyang pagpasok.
"Chairman Straff, you were looking for me?" First thing she said as soon as we entered the room. Too classy, too stylish, she sat down.
Nakakatuwa nga naman, nandoon din si Richard, holding a folder of what we have predicted his cancellation of our contract.
"You don't have to call her here, sir. I suppose it is better to talk it out with you than with her." sabi niya. How pricky.
"I suppose-" sa gitna ng patuloy niyang pagsasalita, sumumbat si Reina. "I suppose you are already holding the contract and planning of cancelling it." sabi niya. You're on faya (fire), girl.
Richard stumbled in his speech. Such a scaredy cat. Hindi man lang niya kinaya ang aura ng partner ko, paano pa kaya kung nadawit pa ang physical fight. But.. I'll do my best to avoid that, he does not want to end up waking in a hospital bed.
"A-ahem. Where was I? Ah, yes. Mister Straff, I think this business is not going as pretty as you think it would be. Your daughter, of all people-"
"Of all people what?" muling sumbat ni Reina. "Chairman Straff, I wish to talk to him privately in my room. If you may, please let us?"
Napamewang si Richard at itinusok ang dila sa kanyang pisngi. "Mister Straff, if I may ask for your permission to please, let Miss Straff know the way outside, I think our conversation would be very clear without her."
"Aah? And you talking to my dad would save our company's partnership with yours?" biglang sagot ni Reina.
"Reina, stop, be quiet for a while." komento ni Chairman Straff.
"That's right, Sir. As I was saying, your daughter, of all people, is very irresponsible. In my opinion, it would be better if you give me the permission to lead this event on my own." Richard advised.
"The event that Reina has been leading is about DT Group's VIP charity program, is it not?" tanong ni Chairman. "Yes, sir. That's right, sir." sagot naman ni Richard na para bang batang sumagot sa kanyang lolo. "But also, this is a joint program between DT Groups and T-Print Company. Which gives me just the same amount of leadership. But your daughter has been leading the event solo. I will not stand for it any longer."
Tumayo ang Chairman at humarap sa kanyang bookshelf. Matalas siyang namili ng libro at bumuklat sa gitna nito. "Hmmm. What do you think, Reina?" tanong niya.
"I think he is not worthy of our company name, Chairman."
Napatingin si Richard kay Reina. "Just who the hell-"
"I'm just the one who will personally terminate your connection with our company." muling sumbat ni Reina, at umirap ang mata niya patungo sa kinatatayuan ni Richard.
"And oh, just so you know. You are too boring and unworthly to be my husband, I realized that after I slapped you a while ago. I call off the engagement here and now. I hope you get what kind of situation you're in right now."
Chairman Straff seemed satisfied with his daughter's decision that he did not even give any comments.
"Huh! Let's see who'll come running later. I'll tell my father about this. Let's see where your rude attitude will take you." sabi ni Richard habang nagpapanic.
"Try. Go and try. Sabihin mo mismo sa tatay mo na ikansela ang contrata ninyo sa amin. Oh wait, I guess you didn't catch what I just said. I said, get the hell out of here and cry infront of your old man's office. Because I will be the one to personally tear that fucking contract in front of him" sagot ni Reina. Ah, seriously, she puts a smile on my face.
Richard sighed and rubbed his forehead. "Ah, this rude bitch."
Reina chuckled, "Oh yeah? I just remembered, if you're thinking of going out with your car, better think again. An employee of mine bumped into it, very hard. But don't worry, I called a taxi for you. I also paid for your fare, keep the change if you want." sabi ni Reina.
Tumayo na si Richard dahil sa galit at lumakad palabas.
Yeah, get out. But don't expect Reina to stop provoking. "And oh, don't expect your black card to have any money in it, I took away all the money you took from our company, so just enjoy the change of the fare. Good riddance, hope not to see you again."
Umalis si Richard ng padabog, though that would mean nothing, dahil umalis siyang talo.

(Anyway, Reina, why talk to him in tagalog, even you yourself isn't good at it. You grew up in the US and never got the chance to learn it, how did you pick up those words?
Ah, that was scripted. Since he was too predictable, I already knew what to reply to him few days before he even say what he's gonna say. I just want to make him feel dumb in front of Dad.
Besides, you know I'm pretty smart, those simple and basic words were easy to recognize. It wasn't hard memorizing at all.
