My Only Gentleman
"I'm in front of your house." said Rikollo while holding a bouquet, waiting in a snowy street outside.
"You should've waited inside your car. It's snowing as we speak, you're not even wearing a sweater. What if you catch a cold?" I squabbled in the phone. "I'll hang up now, wait for me inside your car, or just come inside."
"Ok." then the call ended.
I dressed quickly to my most beautiful and took my bag. I hurriedly went outside with my scarf tied around my neck and gloves on my hands, just to see my light-dressed boyfriend still standing in front of our house.
"Didn't I tell you to wait inside your car? What if you catch a cold!?" I said worriedly as I rushed in front of him and held his cold cheeks.
"It's fine. This is where I can see you as you walk outside, I wanted to see you urgently that my legs won't move from this position." he said with a smile in his face. "Rion, at least you should go inside the car now. I don't get bothered by the cold, but it's not the same for you." he continued as he puts his hand on my back to lead me to the car.
He's right, I get cold too easily, even when I wear these thick clothes. He is the cutest when he worries like this.
"Wouldn't it be a disadvantage for us to date today? It's raining too much snow." I said as I look at his focused eyes trying to look for a safe route as he drives.
He nodded as an answer and stayed focus on driving. He looks so mature when he does that.
"Where will we go first?" he asked as he drives at 20km/h. He's too careful, this makes me giggle from time to time, he's too gentle for a man. "Where do you want to go?" I asked.
His eyes didn't shake and stayed at the speed of 20km/h, "You know me too well. You decide." he answered. He's still trying his best to drive carefully.
"It's too cold, so do you want to have an afternoon coffee?" I asked.
"You should have your lunch." he said with his deep cold voice. Ah, he's too charming, nothing would fill my heart as good as him.
"How did you know? I haven't had my lunch yet." I asked. He focused his mind to finding a restaurant. We stayed quiet for half an hour. He finally found a nice restaurant.
"See? Even if I don't suggest a restaurant. You'll eventually find one on your own." I chuckled while looking at him focused on parking the car.
He took the key out and looked at me, "Even if you don't tell me where, I already know where you want to go." he said. "I know your taste better that anyone."
I looked away and grinned, I got butterflies, even when we are already dating. He's too good at delivering his words, it always shoots straight to my heart.
He took his suit off and put it to me. "So that you won't feel cold." he said, only having a polo on him. We went straight inside the restaurant.
I ordered both our food and he waited patiently at the table. After ordering, I went to sit at the table.
He had his eyes occupied again. He's looking somewhere else again. Then he stood up. "Where are you going?" I asked, but I got ignored and he continued walking.
"Let me take that for you." he said to an old lady that's carrying a tray full of food. "Where do you sit?" he asked, followed the old lady and even took some utensils on the way.
He went back to our table and said sorry to me. "She keeps on catching my eyes." he said. "She might fall or slip. The food might fall and be wasted. Sorry for making you wait."
