(I'm with Paul on this one John.)
George arrived at Penny Lane first. He was just finishing a cigarette he lit not long before.
Ringo was the next to pull up and approached the scene. George approached him as he spoke. "What do we got?"
"Male, Mid thirties. He was dead on arrival."
"What happ'ned?"
"Executed. One shot to the head. As you know, there was no witnesses around."
"Hard to believe isn't it?"
"Not really. He may have been placed here after death. Too little blood around and the side of his face was grazed by a bullet but there's none to be found."
"Okay. So, anything leading to the suspect?"
"Not at the moment. Right now, we have no leads."
"Figures."
John was the last one to arrive with Morris. He stepped out of his car and went to the others. "Ey." Was all he said and walked past them.
"Is that all yer going to say?" Ringo asked.
"What do you want me to say? Someone died this morning. What do you want me to say?"
"Don't get offensive John. It was just a question. We aren't any more happy about this situation than you are."
"Sorry bud. On edge."
"Yer always on edge."
"Sod off before ye find me fist in yer face." He said calmly.
"John!" George stepped up. "Behave! Yer at a crime scene. The least you could do is behave yerself while yer here."
"Alright fine. Whatever." He said blowing them off.

That night, the three of them called it a day. Ringo had gone back to Paul's house to 'care for him' as usual. And, as usual, he let himself in. By the time he got there though, Paul was already in bed.
Ringo went to Paul's room and walked up beside the bed. Then, he started to shake him awake. Paul mumbled and finally cracked his eyes open.
"Ringo?" He questioned. "What are you doing here?" He asked as his sleepy gaze fell on him.
"Did you eat today?"
"Seriously? That's why yer here? To ask me if I ate today?"
"Yes. Answer the question."
"Remember, you came by during lunch time and made me food. So, yes. I ate today."
"Did you eat supper?"
"I said I ate today."
"You need to answer my question. Did you eat supper?"
Paul thought for a moment. "Uh, no I didn't. I spent the rest of the day in bed."
"I'll make ye something quick."
"I honestly don't want anything. Not hungry. Super tired." Paul closed his eyes.
"Ey, wake up Macca. Come on."
He opened his eyes again and sighed. Then, he finally sat up. "Alright. I'm up."
Ringo put a hand to his forehead. "Seems like you lost that stubborn temperature."
Paul pushed his hand away. "I already knew that. Trust me."
