(I love Paul too!!!!)

John turned to look at Ringo.

"Psst."

Ringo looked up from what he was doing. "What is it John? Want a poker rematch?"

John laughed mockingly. "Not poker. Monopoly."

"No way!"

"Why not? Afraid I'll win?"

"Okay. Fine. A game of monopoly will do. I'll beat you at that too."

"No you won't. Remember, that's my game. I'll win."

Ringo started chuckling. "Yer real anxious aren't ye?"

"Yes! I need to win. I'm going crazy!"

"To did win several times!"

"You made me win! I want a real win. A real competition."

"Okay. Tonight you will have it. Yer house of mine?"

"Do you have the game?"

"No."

"Then mine. Yer winning streak will go down!"

"Yeh, keep telling yerself that. I will win this one too."

John stood up and approached him. "How much you want to bet?"

"2,000 in monopoly money."

"Real money mr. Funny guy."

"How about 20 pounds?"

"Come on. You can do better than that."

"Okay. 100 pounds. How does that strike you?"

"Right in the heart. It's a deal. Whoever loses gives 100 pounds to the winner."

The two shook hands and John went over to sit back down at his desk. "Remember the bet."

"Don't worry. I can never forget the bet that I'll win. By the end of today, I'll be 100 pounds richer."

"No way! Yer not winning this! I refuse to let you!"

"Look John, I can't let you ruin my winning streak. Not now, not ever."

"Watch me take it away from you! Remember, I know how to play this game. I know how to win. And yer streak is going down!"

"I would love to see you try to win."

That night.......................

John was setting up the game waiting for his friends to come by so they can have a little 'boys night out'. Paul came in through the back door as John was just setting up the game money.

"Ey Macca. Ready for tonight?"

"Yeh. I'm ready to see you beat Ritch."

John smiled widely. "He's going down. He's going down hard."

Paul laughed. "Exactly how many poker games have you played with him? Total?"

"At least a hundred."

Paul glared at him with a smile.

"I got desperate."

There was a knock on the door.

"Paul, would you get that?"

Paul nodded and opened the door. It was Ringo. "Ey, it's yer opponent."

George walked in right behind him.

"Everyone's here."

John sat on his couch and lit a cigarette. Then, he looked at Ringo. "Yer going down son."

"Me? I'm not the one who lost 100 games of poker."

"That's poker. Not monopoly."

Who do you think is going to win? Ringo, John, or one of the others?
