The next morning..........................
John and George were still asleep past the time they were supposed to meet the other two for their bike ride, so naturally, they went over to John's to see why the two didn't show up.
Cynthia let them in and informed them that John and George were still asleep. Paul just shook his head. "Any reason why they're not up?"
"Not that I know of. You could ask."
"Great. I'll wake John. He'll love it."
Paul smiled and sprinted upstairs. He passed George's and Julian's room before he got to John's. Then, he opened the door and saw that John was awake and getting dressed.
"Paul! Do you mind?"
"Sorry John. I was going to wake you up."
"I'm trying to get dressed here. Can't ye see that?"
"Uh, yeh. I'll be downstairs."
"Good call."
Paul shut the door and started laughing. "Whoops."
He walked back to George's room and knocked on the door instead of actually walking in. George opened the door. "Ey. You do know you didn't need to knock right?"
"I know. I wanted to make sure you weren't getting dressed or something."
"Nope. I was already dressed. What brings you here?" George asked as he stepped out of his room fully.
"Its past 9am. You missed biking with me and Ringo."
"Oh. Did I? Sorry mate."
"Its alright. We shouldn't be taking a ride today. Looks like we're in for a storm." (Got that idea from the way it looks outside my house right now. Sometimes, I get inspiration from real life things that goes on in my life)
"Ugh. Hope its just a little rain instead of a storm."
"No telling. Could be a little rain or it could rain cats and dogs."
John left his room and walked up to the two. "Paul, next time you walk in on me getting dressed, I'll drown you."
"Alright. Alright. I'll knock next time."
"You better."
John pushed past both of them and started walking downstairs with both following him. "Sorry we didn't meet you and Ring Boy down for biking. Had a late night and slept in."
"Makes sense. We weren't going for a bike ride anyways today."
"Why not?"
"Storm comin'."
"You brought it on didn't ye Macca?"
"How'd ye guess?"
"Because you always bring on a storm. Want breakfast or did ye already eat?"
"It all depends what yer going to cook."
"I'm not sure. Ey, Cyn, what sounds good for breakfast?"
"Uh, you could have what Julian had. Cereal."
"No thanks. I would rather cook something."
John went to the kitchen and went through his cabinets to see if he could find anything to cook. "Hmm." He took out a box of pancake mix and grabbed some bacon and eggs from the refrigerator.
"A nice big breakfast." John said smiling and laughing like a little kid.
"You seem a little too excited." Ringo said as he joined John in the kitchen.
"You bet I am. I'm famished and neeeeed to eat. Wanna help cook?"
"Yeh. Sure. What do you want me to do?"
"I really wanna make waffles. Could you get out the waffle maker?"
Ringo nodded and went looking through the cabinets until he found the maker and pulled it out, then, plugged it in. John handed the box of pancake mix to Ringo so he could make the waffles.
John got started on making the bacon and eggs on the stove. The smell of the bacon invaded the whole house within a few minutes, making everyone else hungry even though some of them weren't.
Paul sat down on the couch and started to once again, look at sheet music.
"Paul, give that a break." John yelled through the kitchen.
"No John. We need to get this done."
"We will! Doesn't mean we have to spend every moment of our lives working on it! Give it a rest!"
Paul put the paper down and went into the kitchen.
"Sorry Paul but I'm going to have to kick you and Geo out of the kitchen."
"But I just got in here."
"I know. Its getting too crowded."
Paul sighed loudly. "Alright. We'll be in the kitchen. Come 'ead Geo. Leave these working bees to their hive."
George nodded and followed Paul out.
