( "No. Actually, we're just good friends.")
John had once again taken something for his head. Paul had decided to go back to his house and go straight to bed because he had only a couple hours sleep from the prank he pulled the night before. He was tired. Now, he was curious if John would strike back while he himself was sleeping.
John's Residence
John had gone to see a doctor about his headache, as commander by his wife Cynthia. Turns out, it was just stress headaches. He experienced them before but usually never said anything. He was just undergoing a lot of stress at this time from dealing with his father, songwriting and his other job. He had way too much on his hands and really wanted to take another holiday.
Paul's Residence
Paul had only gotten a few more hours of sleep. Not a lot to him. He wanted a full eight hours. But instead, he got three. Then, he realized why he couldn't sleep. He was hungry and usually can't sleep on an empty stomach. So, he got out of bed and decided instead of cooking, he would just order take-out. He picked up the phone and before dialing, he was debating what he wanted. Pizza or chinese. He decided to go with pizza.
Ringo's Residence
Ringo had spent the morning perfecting everything. No one knew how he could be so productive in the morning and got things done but he did. He looked at the time. It was only 10am. In the couple hours he spent dusting and cleaning his house, he had done alot. He listened to all the beatles songs while cleaning, and during that time, he would pretty much dance to some of the songs while holding a broom. Then, he would realize what he was doing and stop...........but not for long. He would pick it up again.
George's Residence
George was cooking some food that would last him several days. He had also seemed to be productive that morning and did the same thing Ringo was doing. Listening to their own records and cleaning while his homemade food was cooking. He walked to the kitchen and stole a tiny tomato and began eating it. (I love tomatos!)
Then, he checked on his food, stirred it, and went back to cleaning. He walked outside and kept the door open because it was a nice hot day out.
George started cleaning his windows. He would spray window cleaner to the beat of whatever song was playing and, just like Ringo, he would dance to the music except, he didn't have a broom with him. He just had window cleaner and a rag for the windows. He then sneezed from dust that had been on the window sill.
The phone rang. He set the stuff down and quickly ran to the kitchen phone.
"Yeh?"
"Ey! Its Paul. Wanna hang out today?"
"Oh, not today. I'm in the middle of both cooking and cleaning. Sorry. How about tomorrow?"
"Okay. I'll hold you to that promise. Don't break it."
George laughed. "I wouldn't dare. Tomorrow. Don't you have anyone else to hang out with?"
"Not really. Everyone's busy."
"Okay. How about this, you can come over here. If you want, you could help me out. We could hang out here. How's that sound?"
"Ey, I'm up for anything."
"Okay. Come over here any time today and we could hang out here."
"Okay. I'll be on my way in a few minutes."
"Alright. See ye in a few."
George hung up and opened up the front door so Paul didn't have to knock and so he didn't have to walk all the way to the front door to answer it. He walked up to check on his food. It still had a long time before it was to get done.
He went back outside, grabbed the window cleaner again and continued cleaning the windows and his glass door. George was glad Paul was coming over to help so he could get done quicker.
After about 10 minutes, Paul walked in through the front door. "Ey Geo! I'm here."
"Over here Paul!" He shouted.
Paul shut the front door and approached George. "Ey. Anything I can help with?"
"Uh, can you clean some statues I have out here? They're full of dust."
Paul laughed. "Yeh. Everyone seems busy today. You and Ringo both are cleaning, and John just has way too much going on so, I left him alone. I really wanted to hang out today. Remember that promise you promised me. We'll hang out tomorrow."
"I won't forget. Don't worry. How about we start when you get up in the morning to go jogging. I'll join you."
"Great idea! Have you ever thought about jogging everyday?"
"I have. I want to but I might start saying what John said. It'll kill me. I don't think I can."
"You can. How about, join me for a whole week and see how you like it. If you don't, you can stop."
"Remember, everyday we still have a time that we bring John and Ringo to go biking. Don't forget about that."
"I didn't. Remember, I've been running and biking since that sod 'can't' run. Or, he says he can't. He can. He just needs to try."
"Are you going to make him?"
"No. He'll kill me."
Hi guys! This is the longest chapter in the book so far! I might start making the chapters longer! I usually have 450-500 words in each one but once I reached 450 in this chapter, it didn't seem like alot of words or paragraphs so I expanded it. Hope you enjoyed it!
