The next morning, George and Ringo stopped off at John's house because the other two were late for the bike ride they were supposed to have. Once they got to John's, Ringo took the spare key and let them in. He turned on the living room light and saw the two passed out, Paul on the couch and John on the floor, John having an empty bottle of whiskey in his right hand.

"What happened here?" Ringo asked.

"Ey, don't ask me. They didn't invite me to the party."

"Guess we could clean up for them."

"Or they could clean up themselves."

"That's a better idea. Should we wake them?"

"That'll be torturous...........lets do it."

George walked up to John and kicked the empty bottle out of his hand, then, moved to kick his foot to wake him, which didn't work. Ringo approached Paul and pushed him off the couch.

Paul groaned and put a hand to his head. "Geez." He muttered before slowly sitting up. He looked over at Ringo. "What are you doing in my house?"

"I hate to break this to ye but, its not yer house."

"Huh?"

"Yer at John's."

"Oh. Why does my bloody head hurt?"

"Because apparently you got drunk with our boy Johnny over there, who's having a hard time waking up."

Paul looked over at John. "Pinch his nose so he doesn't breathe. That'll wake him up for sure."

George shook his head. "No. I'll keep with my torturous moves." Then, George kicked John in the back pretty hard, waking him instantly.

"OW! ow." He said turning on his back. Then, he looked up at George. "What are you doing here?"

"You missed the bike ride. Remember?"

John struggled to sit up and looked at Paul. "Paul? Ringo? What are you two doing here?"

"Oh, Ringo came with me. Paul was with you all night. Next time you two decide to get drunk, the least you could do is invite us to join the party."

"Maybe next time. Help me up." John said. George grabbed his arm and forced him to stand. "What a mess." John said under his breath. "Why do I feel sick?"

"Because you drank last night."

"From the looks of it, I drank too much." He reached down and picked up a couple empty bottles. "Geo, do me a favor will ye."

"What?"

"Check my liquor cabinet. Tell me how much liquor is left."

George nodded and left his sight. John approached Paul and helped him up. "Paul, why did you come over yesterday?"

"Beats me. Oh yeh. It was raining. Then you asked me for a beer, then.........then we woke up to this."

"Oh. So, that's what happened. One of us has to remember what happened before we drank our hearts out."

George came back.

"There's no more liquor."

"What?"

"No more liquor."

"Oh geez. We drank everything. Paul? How could you?!"

"How could I what?"

"How could you not stop us from drinking?"

"Ey, this is yer house. Yer the one who was supposed to be responsible."

"Me? Responsible? Since when?"

"Yer right, John. Yer the most irresponsible person we know."

"Thank you. I'll take that as a compliment."

"Please do."

"Okay boys. The two of you need to clean up this mess."

"Can you at least help?"

"Fine. We'll help. But this is the last time we're helping you clean up yer mess."

"Fair enough."

*********

After a while, they all got the mess cleaned up and everything was back in order.

"I can't believe I got drunk yesterday." John said.

"You were the one who wanted to."

"Nu-uh. Not me. It was you. Remember?"

"Not from what I remember. I just joined you because you wanted me to get drunk with you."

"No way! I was the one who joined you because you said and I quote: 'I want to get drunk. That's why I came here.'"

"I did not say that. Yer full of it."

"Okay boys. no need to fight. Who cares which one said what. Its all done and over with. Let it be."

"Remind me to buy more alcohol today."

"Why? So you could get drunk tomorrow?" Paul asked.

"Just so you know, It was yer fault. I wasn't planning on getting drunk tomorrow.

"It wasn't my fault Lennon."

"Yes it was McCartney."

"They're at it again. I think we need to seperate them. Or, at least hold on to them so they don't kill each other." Ringo said.

"Right."

George walked up to Paul while Ringo took John and held the two while they started arguing.

"Okay lads. This is getting rediculous. This is a stupid thing to fight over. Knock it off before me and George take you down and don't think we won't."

The two shut up and looked at Ringo.

"Don't even try Ring boy."

"Ey. John, be nice. Ringo didn't do anything. Look, I think yer on edge right now because you have a hangover."

"Which is Paul's fault."

"Okay. I don't care who's fault it was. Don't do this. Not now. Now, I want the two of you to shake hands and be friends again. Got it?"

John and Paul looked at George, then looked at each other and reluctantly shook hands.

"There. Feel better?"

"No." The two said in unison.
