"Hey, Case pass me the coffee please." Adrienne yawned as she plopped on the nearby wooden chair.

"Sure." I said, while sipping my own. The sweet taste of the hot drink remained on my tongue as it went down my throat.

"Did you put sugar on it?" She squinted her pale brows. Her features told she was displeased.

"Umm, yes. Why?"

"Nah, girl. I can't take it. All my workouts will go in vein if I take sugar right now." The blonde in front of me shook her head in disagreement.

"Okay... Just wait. I'll make you a new one." I sighed and got up from the comfy sofa.

"You are such a sweetie." She smiled cheekily. Her green eyes shone brightly.

"Yeah, yeah. Whatever." I grumbled as I made my way towards the kitchen.

Allyene was busy in cooking as she hurriedly chopped the vegetables, a frown present on her face.

"Hey, are you okay?" I placed a hand on her shoulder which stiffened at the contact.

"Yeah... It's just .....I've fallen a little behind from the time. I also have to go to the market and do the shopping and other things and it's already nine am and I'm......"

"Hey it's okay. Don't worry you'll do everything in time, just take a deep breath." I tried to calm her down by offering her a soft smile.

She followed my instruction and closed her eyes for a moment, inhaling a portion of invisible air. Her innocent eyes opened up as she lightly beamed at me.

"Thank you."

"Anytime."

The sun rose high in the sapphire blue sky still, the chills of winter didn't feel less. The weather felt cold as frost and the warmth of summer had yet to come. I tugged my fluffy scarf around my neck more tightly as I looked ahead of me. The rough pavement of the school compound laid forward as the forest green neatly cut grass decorated the front of it.

My mind settled on the latter day as the horrid visions were displayed before me. My teeth unconsciously dug the flesh of my inner cheek. Fear captivated me in a sturdy grip, terrorizing me slowly. A hand yanked me forward as the owner of that hand looked at me without patience.

"What, are you gonna stay here all day?" Adrienne huffed and crossed her full sleeved arms over her chest.

"You go ahead. I'm coming." I said while wincing slightly, my tongue traced the new uneven skin of my warm mouth.

"Okay. Don't be late for your classes." She waved her hands and tuned forward. Her slender figure retorted in the mass of hundred people.

I silently nodded as I paused my self in the midway. My eyes followed a certain figure and enlarged  in a similar emotion akin to panic.

Amanda. The queen bee of our renowned school. She looked restless as if she was searching for something or someone. And that someone remind me of myself. Her followers stayed near her as their eyes examined the crowed like a hawk searching for it's prey.

Gulping rapidly, I paced forward; my head slightly slanted downwards. The air around me seemed to change as I felt a little bit nervous. People around me parted in my way as everybody seemed to stop on their tracks. An impossible silence occurred in the big hallway. My heart raced rapidly against my chest as if it's gonna explode any moment.
