The grey clouds roared loudly as lightning tore into the dull green land. The sky cried angrily as harsh wind blew by.

The grassy ground lost it's lushness as wet mud was draped over the whole surface. Shoes slapped on the ground as bodies carried the coffin on their shoulder with a silent prayer on their lips and a boulder of agony on their heart.

Life was hard, so was death. But this is the nature of the universe. It will give as well as take. People will come and go but their memories will remain with the rest.

But the pain of loosing someone is something unspeakable. You can only feel it. In your hear, through your veins.

It seemed like the nature understood our pain as it mourned at our agony.

Death is a mystery to everyone. What happens after death? Would you find peace of would you fine pain?

Only God knows.

But I understand the feeling of loosing someone. I understand the moment when you have no more tears to shed, your heart becomes hard as a stone. You almost feel nothing...

My mind saddened even more when I saw the exact thing happening to someone else.

Riley..

Riley, the daughter of Mrs. Norman. And who is Mrs. Norman? My new neighbor. The lady who helped me with my belongings, who smiled at me with warm eyes.

"Oh, I am sorry. But I also heard that there were no body on his grave."

My eyes shot up towards her, my mind spinning in thousand questions.

"What are you saying?"

" I don't know dear, it also could be a lie."

Oh, Mrs. Norman... Her words still echoed in my ears. Her image lingered on my vision. It felt like yesterday when I met her for the first time.

And the next time I meet her, she's dead.

We are at her funeral. She died last night. And do you know what is more frightening? The place where she died..

Yes, someone between the forest and the waters of Riles.

In the night

A car accident.

Spot Death.

Fatal injury on the head.

Over bleeding.

Slippery Roads

Alone

The legend

The curse

No body in the grave

"Casie.."

My last hope

"Casie"

She knew something

"CASIE!"

I blinked a few times to clear myself from those thought and pay attention to Travis. He didn't look any better himself. The rain has started and I found myself already soaked.

Everything felt cold and empty, almost merciless. But still, somewhere between these nightmares, a tiny shred of warmth built inside me.

He was holding out the umbrella for me.

Without any complain I got under it, sharing the warmth with him. But my eyes were fixed on the girl in front of me.

Riley
