Today, my eyes fluttered open at the sunrise. The comforter felt hot against my body as the summer has started to knock on the nature's door.

The sun has settled on the high sky, announcing it's aura to every living being. Birds chirped happily as trees started to fill with lush green. Mother Nature seemed to be happy.

I yawned and placed my coffee on the railing of the balcony. A cold breeze blew, the smell of fresh flowers drafted in the air.

Suddenly, the door of his room burst open, revealing a sweaty Travis in nothing but pants.

The comforter fell from my body as I stood up from the rocking chair, slowly making my way towards the room, my eyes already squinted in suspicion.

Where the hell was he all night?

My jaw dropped as stared at him with an open mouth. Flies must have entered in my mouth since something seems to be stuck on my throat.

"Stop gawking like you never saw a guy." He said in an annoyed tone.

Well, there's a few things Travis Xander does not like and stares is one of them.

"W-What? I'm gawking? At you? Are you even listening what are you saying? You look awful. Where the hell were you last night? You don't look like you had slept at all."

"Ah... so many questions. I'd love to sit with you and answer them one by one but unfortunately, guys like me don't waste time on girls like you. In one word, that's none of your business."

He walked around the room and took out his clothes, and towel from the wardrobe and walk towards the bathroom not even caring my rage.

"You! Immobile jerk! You say that's none of my business? Why did you tell me to stay in your room when you were not present here at all?"

He turned his head and stared at me with a cocked brow.

"Why? Did you miss me?"

"I mean..." I took a deep calm breath trying to control my temper. "What if anybody saw you?"

"So, what's wrong in that? It's my house. I'm not a thief." He shrugged off.

"We are lovers, remember? And lovers don't leave each other at night time."

"Oh, yeah?" He smirked as he  fully  turned towards me, taking slow steps at my direction.

"So, why don't lovers leave each other at night? I mean, I never loved anyone. So I don't know what lovers do at night. Care to enlighten me?"

"A play boy like you should know what lovers do at nights." I snickered.

"I think you didn't hear me right. I am a playboy. I'll probably have sex with a girl if I stay with her. But I'm not a lover. So, tell me what would two people do if they are in love with each other? Especially at night, in a room, on a bed, under covers." He drawled out, slowly closing the distance between us.

Reflexively, I backed away, my heart pumped faster as I became nervous under his heavy gaze.

Why do I always get uneasy whenever he comes closer? What about our silent company? Oh, I forgot. Our silence disappeared with Mason.

"Umm.... Lovers... They have an intimate relation when they are in madly love." I looked at anything but him, already blushing at my own words.

"Hmmm...I see. So, you are saying that we should also do, oh sorry... perform those intimate things so that Mr. and Mrs. Parker think that we are perfect lovers."

"I did not say anything! I only said to stay in this room!" I cried in frustration.

This boy would be the end of my life. Only God knows what he gets by annoying all the time.
