Loud music blasted on the mansion like house, surrounded by big trees and a lonely forest. Lights flashed, bodies danced and the smell of alcohol seemed to intoxicate the air even more. Everyone one was having the night of their life as it was the biggest party of the year. Disco balls hung on the ceiling, twirling flashily.
Thee crowd was massive, most of it draped in red and white. The chill of winter didn't do anything to lessen the overgrowing heat of the big hall. Everyone was chilling, dancing and drinking their heart out.
Those who did not like to get wasted around these sweaty bodies, sat near the food stalls, bar counters, secretly appreciating these mouth watering foods and drinks.
For Casie Winston, she'd definitely choose the first one. She's not the one to sit around and do nothing.
Dancing was something she adored from childhood. Rather it be some loud party or just by herself, she never missed the chance to dance her heart out.
Every beat started with new steps, new moves which led her dug deep in the a world where there was none but her and a bright spotlight. She was the star of her own little world. Eyes shut close, lips grazed in a smile, she let her body move with the music. She flowed like the water, swayed like the wind and burned like the fire.
Keep dancing
With your body, soul and heart
I'll be watching you
From afar, siting in the dark
A sweetened smile rose on her painted yet dry lips as her eyes averted on the dark haired boy, who was smiling at her with soft charcoal eyes.
Mason was sitting at a corner, away from the crowd with glass of wine on his hand. His heart warmed to see her enjoying after a long time. These few years have been so hard for her, yet she tried to stay strong, and smile despite of bearing a heart full of agony.
I'll keep loving you
Even when we fall apart
I'll be there for you
Till the end as I was from the start
Casie motioned him to join her, her hands already waving him to come but he shook his head negatively. His smirk deepen when his eyes fell on someone behind her.
Confusion crept on her delicate features when she noticed him staring at someone. She turned back and her breath hitched when her eyes landed on the boy in front her.
Travis...
His dark attire stood out like a sour thumb yet he seemed to be blend in the crowd like a cloud of the midnight sky but that was not her concern right now. He was always the center of the attention for his tall and masculine appearance but mostly for those dark enigmatic eyes. She had to look up as he was a head taller than her. Her heart thumped faster when she felt him staring at her with those dark blue eyes.
Emotion masked under strong features, he stood their, head held high like a king.
What are you?
My heart or my home?
Tell me again
Though I already know
Her dancing stopped as shock appeared on her face. Brown eyes squinted as a frown appeared on her lips. Her shoulder tensed as he moved towards her. A thousand emotions flowed through her body when she felt him taking her slender hand into his and swaying in the slow beat.
