Lunch was served in a fancy manner as everything seemed nice and lavish. The dining hall was adorned in golden lights and dim lamps. The grand chandelier hung over out head and lit in a fancy way. Everything seemed classy and rich. Maids bustled around the room, serving rich and delicious food and drinks.

I felt even worse then before. The little nap seemed to worsen me even more. Everything was buzzing around my me, my vision blurred in every moment and flickered like a candle. My throat felt itchy and dry as the food did not seemed to digest on my stomach.

What was wrong with me?

Not only physically, I also felt mentally sick. Not exactly sick, I felt kind of funny and hot from inside.

Unconsciously, I loosened the collar of my dress. Travis noticed my uncomfortness and stared down at me with concern.

"Hey, are you feeling alright?" He asked tenderly, his ocean blue eyes seemed to soften for a moment.

Sometimes I wonder if he was acting or was he really caring? Life is unpredictable, so are people. Our past says he is dangerous but our present says he can more then that. Not in a bad way but in a good one.

"I-I, I think I'm gonna go." I whispered and stood up. The wooden chair creaked against the white tiles as I excused myself.

A sudden wave of dizziness hit me making me stumble on the way. Strong arms held me firm against his warm body as he was in front of me in a flash

Everyone threw worried glance at us while he helped me to steady myself.

"Please excuse us." He said in a low tone and led me towards his room.

Everything felt hot on my skin. Even the sundress I was wearing was starting to stick on my body as I was already sweating. Every fiber of my body burned painfully as if someone has a wall of blazing sun. My ribs hurt , my bones ached continuously.

The dizziness came back, a dull throb exploded in the back of my head.

My hands found their way towards the heavy collar and yanked the button away instantly. Removing the sheets, I bolted up from the bed .

Travis was sitting on the edge of the bed, his head hung low, eyes covered with highlighted bangs, hands massaging the front of his temple.

His dark eyes shot up at my sudden action. He looked alarmed and little bewildered.

"T-Travis...."

He didn't speak up but came up to my side. His digits fixed on my temple and he cursed silently.

"Your skin is burning." He muttered.

"I-I can't b-breath..."

His orbs enlarged as his grip tightened on my arm. I could sense panic on those fathomless pool as if I was drowning on them.

I couldn't breath anymore. I was in the mass of darkness, losing myself on them. The world dimmed around me as I could hear nothing but my thumped heart beat, hammering against my ribs.

His lips moved, he was saying something maybe yelling. But I could hear nothing.

Something cold was shoved on my mouth as icy liquid went down my throat, easing my body a little. The hotness was still there, but my sense came back.

I found myself getting up from the bed as he led me forward, his muscular arm draped under my arms.

I looked at him with confused hazy eyes.
