The procedure

Stef's: POV
We just arrived at the fertility clinic. Lena just had a mini melt down, in the car. She's okay now
Lena's trying to be strong.
But I know she's dying inside
This time I'm going to be there with her. Through this Journey
Where in this together forever,
We both get out the car. I grabbed Lena's hand, she's literally shaking, l take her in my arms. And hug her. I let Lena know, I'm here for her no matter what happens. We head inside and take the elevator to the third floor, the elevator door opens
We step out. Lena went to the ladies room first, to wash her face. I think Lena needed a minute to collect herself, so l stand outside the bathroom door
To wait for Lena. I checked out the time, on my phone, it's only 8:45 and Lena's appointment is at 10: 00 AM they might take Lena early.

Lena's: POV
Where here at the doctor's office
I broke down in the car. When we pulled up, l told myself l wasn't going to cry but it happen anyway.  Stef was there to comfort me, and she told me
We would get through this together. I know I'm going to need her strength and her love
to get me through this. I went to use the bathroom so I could pull myself together. And to fix my makeup, l take some deep breaths to relax my nerves so l counted to fifty to get my breathing under control. I splash some water on my face and dried my face, l reapplied my makeup
I walked out the door of the bathroom, to see Stef standing there waiting for me. Stef held her hand out, and I grabbed it
We walked down the hall.
Stef opened the door for me
I walked in and went up to the counter and signed in, they already had my insurance information on file. I took my
Seat beside, Stef. She's looking at a magazine, l started going through my phone to find something to take my mind off
My nervousness. The nurse came out and called me back, we both stood up and followed her.
The woman asked me to step on the scale, to get my weight
Stef looked at scale to see how much l weighed. I have a high metabolism, l saw the nurses name on her shirt. Erica was her name, she took my blood pressure. along with my temperature, all my vitals were good. Erica gave me a gown put on, she left the room to give me some privacy. Stef stayed in the room, l had to take everything off from the waist down. Stef took a seat in the chair, when I was though. I sat on the bed
Erica came back in the room
To put the stuff on the silver metal tray. I saw surgical gloves
Needles and a clear dish of some sort, a few moments later
The doctor comes in the room
She greets us. Dr. Moore explains everything to us, so we understand what's about to take place. She said no sex for at least seventh two hours, l looked over at Stef. And winked my eye at her
I know Stef's glad we made love last weekend. Dr. Moore states once the process is complete, l might have some cramping for a day or so. She got all her tools ready, asked me to lay back on the bed and put my feet in the stir ups. Dr. Moore said that I'm going to feel some pressure down below my private area, Stef my hand. She give me a shot of numbing medicine inside my vagina. I felt a pinch, it took a few minutes to take effect.
Once I'm numb completely
Erica passed her clear cover dish
Dr. Moore tells me what she's going to be doing, Dr. Moore sticks a mental object inside of me to take one of my eggs so it could be fertilized with the sperm. After she extracts one of my eggs. She places it in the clear cover dish. Erica is holding a metal rod with a light attached to it, so Dr. Moore could see what she was doing. Dr. Moore took another egg and put it in the same dish. Dr. Moore looked on the screen, while she was performing the procedure to make sure that everything was done properly. After Dr. Moore got done. She let's us we would have to come back in the two weeks. For the final stage
Did l still need to take the fertility
Pills, l asks no Lena you don't
Dr. Moore says to me. Make sure on your out. Make another appointment to see me. Dr.Moore replied l will Lena says
Lena if you experience any usual bleeding or nausea vomiting, call me. ASAP! You can sit up and get dress. Take it easy for the next two days, no extracurricular activities. For a week, and no sex of any kind for 72 hours Dr.Moore States. Erica cleaned up everything, before left the room.
