Lena's: POV
We just arrived at the International House of pancakes
It seems rather crowded.
For this time in the morning
A waitress showed us to our table, where giving menus
to look at before we order our food. Stef glances at hers
I'm not sure what l want yet,
I know that I don't want nothing to heavy. The waiter comes back over to take our order, Stef gets blueberry pancake with bacon and a cup of coffee. I went with a bowl of fruit and a brand muffin
With a cup of peppermint tea
He takes our menus and leaves
We just sit and made small talk until the food comes.
l reached in my bag to get my prenatal pills out so l take them,
I have to take two with food
If l take it on the empty stomach l will be sick as a dog. We decided after breakfast we are going to take a down the beach instead of going to the flea market. That's more like a plan to me, the waitress brings over to our table
She sat it down in front of us
Everything looks good. Stef pours syrup on her pancakes,
I dig into my food. Where eating our meal in peace, when somebody starts staring at us
It's making a little uncomfortable
I tried not to let bother me.
People act like they never seen
to women together. I will not be ashamed of being out with my wife, I'm happy of who l am
That shouldn't be a issue for anybody, I'm finished my food
Stef's still eating. I take my fork and eat some of her pancakes
We do this anytime where out some where.she doesn't mind
I already took my vitamins
Now I'm really full.
Stef's: POV
I shake my head at Lena
She's stealing my pancakes
The way she does it. It's cute in a way, a random stranger keeps watching us, why do people do that. It's rude to stare,
I'm enjoying my wife's company
She always knows how to make me laugh. Even when I'm having a bad day, where not going to the flea market. We settle on going to the beach, caused where both exhausted. Especially Lena she looks wore out, l know she doesn't sleep well at night sometimes. I just wish Lena could tell what's going on in her mind, l want to be able to talk to me. It doesn't have to be anything serious. She usually speaks her mind, maybe she's worried about this upcoming appointment on Monday.
This time we choose a donor we didn't know. It's better than before, the last one we went with
Wanted to be part of the baby's life. I had to put my foot down
But it was all for the best,
All l want is a healthy baby
I'm going to be there every step of the way this time.
