Lena's: POV
When we pulled up to the restaurant. Stef parked the car in the parking lot, we both got out of the SUV. We walked hand in hand inside the building, Stef told the gentleman we had a reservation, he looked it up in the computer then the young man, took too menus and showed us to our table. He placed the menus down in front of us
And left our table. We scan over the menu, to see what we wanted to order for dinner. I decided to get a salad before ordering the main course, Stef got the same
She reached over the table and kiss my hand with her lips, Stef could be a romantic at times
I look down at my wedding band she brought. I proud to call her my wife, our journey hasn't always been easy. We have a lot of bumps in the road, after renewing vows. I feel different than before, where starting a new chapter in our lives.
I can't wait for us to get, Venezuela in a couple of weeks
We have already started packing our luggage. We have to suitcases between us, our friends are throwing us a going away party
The waiter brought over our salads, Stef winked her eye at me
I felt butterflies swim around in my stomach. We made light conversations through out dinner, Stef ordered us dessert
It was my favorite red velvet cheesecake. Our waiter came back over and gave us the check
Stef reached in her wallet and handle him her credit card, then she slid a red velvet box on to the table. When I opened the box
It was a gold locket with an inscription that said always and forever my love. Tears rolled down my cheeks, this was the last thing I was expecting her to do. I wanted to give her a long passionate kiss, but we were out in public. I figured I'd wait till we get in the car,Stef's: POV
We had a lovely meal at the restaurant. Then I surprised Lena with a gold locket necklace, she didn't see it coming, I missed that sparkle in her eyes. That l use to see, l wanted Lena to know that she could always count on me
Through the good times and the bad. Ever since I met Lena, l knew instantly she would become my wife one day.
She never seems to amaze me,
Lena pulled out a long black velvet box. Out of her purse and place it on the table, when I look inside it was a silver necklace that red love of my life.
I didn't get emotional like she did
This night l will cherish the rest of my life, we had so many ups and downs.
