Stef's: POV
When I finally woke up l smell food cooking. Lena must be making breakfast this morning
I know that my wife doesn't sleep much through the night. I know she's trying to stay busy, Lena was the sensitive one out of the both of us. So l get out the bed
To go brush my teeth, and wash my face. I'm not forward to this conservation that I have to have with Lena, l know she hasn't been able to sleep for the last couple of days now. So l need to keep my emotions in check, if I don't say that I'm concern about Lena's mental health. She's been cranky, moody and crying all the time
I know it's from the fertility medication. She was taking recently, the doctor told it would take a few weeks for them to be totally out of her system.
I head downstairs to see Lena sitting the table, she's already dressed for the door. I greet Lena with a morning on the lips, like l do every day. She brings my coffee over, and places it in front of me. While Lena brings over the plate of pancakes and eggs, along with the sausage.
Lena takes her seat, when I notice she's not eating.
Lena settles on having a bowl of fruit instead, we eat in silence
Until she says. I'm going to run a few errands this morning, I'll be back in a few hours. That's when I'm taking in her change in tone
Lena gets up from the table, and washes her dish. And kisses me good-bye, then she grabs her purse and jacket. And walks out the door, what the hell just happened. Maybe Lena knew what l wanted to talk her about
I shake my head and continue to eat my breakfast. Maybe l should call Stuart, to talk to him about Lena's behavior. If l do that it's going to cause issues, we wanted to keep the baby news between us, so l decided to focus something else for the time being
I figured I will go to the airport and pick up our airline tickets, since there already paid for
