Stef's: POV
Lena's been acting strange the last couple of days. I can't put my finger on it just yet, every time I ask her what's wrong.she says nothing. I'll let it go for now
The pregnancy test that I bought
Is still sitting in the box.
Lena hasn't taken it, maybe she thinks it's to soon. I don't want to push her into anything that she's not comfortable with, she had the procedure a week ago.
Lena probably thinks l don't want this baby that's why she's holding off from taking the test
I insure her l would be there every step of the way. Lena was never the one to keep anything from me. When I went down stairs, she was talking to some body on the phone. I wasn't trying to listen in on her conversation, after she got done with her call. She was crying
I wanted to ask her what was wrong, l walked over toward her
We sat down on the couch.
Before Lena started talking,
I waited for her to pull herself together. Love who was on the phone, l say to Lena. It was the clinic l went to last Sunday to have my blood drawn. And they said I'm pregnant she says, l am speechless right now. Are you serious Stef said, where going to have a baby Stef Lena states
I can't couldn't believe what I'm,
My wife is having a baby.
I took her in my arms and kissed her on the lips.
Lena's: POV
Urgent just called me and told
I'm pregnant. This was the best news, l just couldn't believe it
For the last few days l been on pins and needles stressing out
I can't wait to tell Stef the good news. This is a dream come true
We had so much to look forward to, this is new baby is our miracle
There were times when I wanted to give up. But God saw fit to bless me a second chance,
Next week I have an. appointment my primary doctor
We leave for our trip next Friday afternoon, everything is starting to fall in place again. All those sleepless nights when I cried my self.to sleep Grieving my little girl that I lost seven years ago, my heart is finally full, the odds aren't against us. Nothing can spoil my good mood, I'm ready to start a new chapter in my life with Stef and this precious baby where going to have. After receiving the best news, we decided to go out to dinner and celebrate. I called my our favorite restaurant and book us a table for 6:30 tonight, after l made my phone call. Me and Stef
Enjoyed a movie together, we cuddle up on the sofa. While we watched home alone, we both laid down. The next thing l remember, us making out like a bunch of teenagers. I eventually felt asleep half way through the movie, Stef covered me with a blanket.
