"Seriously, if she planned to pull something like this, she'd have given us a heads-up at least," Per ranted.
"You know how she gets when it comes to Zach. It's like she's completely lost control," Ark remarked calmly.
She sighed. "I haven't told Roy about this yet."
"Don't bother. He's got his own methods for keeping an eye on her," he said, then chuckled. "This is getting kind of exciting, isn't it?"
She raised an eyebrow at him. "Let's not turn this into a joke."
"Listen, there are some things that are beyond our control. Our primary responsibility is to ensure our girl's safety and keep her sane. If reuniting with Zach brings her joy, then we should support it. After all, she's got her own life to lead, and we can't dictate it. Our role is to offer guidance." he explained.
She sighed again. "Why couldn't their relationship have just turned into a simple love story with a happy ending?"
"I've never come across a story like that. Everyone faces challenges. In my opinion, endings are much more fulfilling when they're achieved through hard work and effort," he said.
She pouted, but reluctantly agreed. "How long will it take us to get there?"
"More than a day," he replied.
"Ugh," she groaned, frowning.
"Isn't this brilliant? Hivrins don't have wings, yet they've figured out how to fly while comfortably seated. So just sit back, relax, and enjoy the flight," he assured her.

Zach's day at school took a turn for the worse as he found himself bombarded with questions about Clair. While he understood the intrigue surrounding an average guy like him interacting with a beautiful and wealthy girl, the constant interrogation about their relationship wore him down. Refusing to disclose any information about her, he sought solace in empty rooms during his free periods, growing weary of the endless scrutiny. By the end of the day, he was more exhausted from evading questions than from his actual studies. After his last class, he retreated to a quiet corner of the library, retrieving his phone from his jeans pocket to dial Clair's number. After a few rings, she finally answered.
"Hey, it's Zach. Did you find a hotel?" he inquired.
"Yeah, it's just a few blocks away from your dorm," she replied.
"What are you doing right now?" he asked.
"I'm here at Shibuya Oji, a Japanese restaurant nearby," she responded.
"Oh, I've been there before. Their food is quite good," he remarked.
"Yeah. I went for their largest bowl of udon. Down to the last bite now," she said.
He chuckled softly. "You don't seem like a big eater."
"Don't underestimate what someone can put away by the size of their stomach. I still have a room for the dessert," she replied.
Another chuckle escaped him. "Fair point. Do you have other plans for today?"
"Why did you ask?" she inquired.
