After three days of investigation, aided by the cooperative Fallen residents of Helsinki, Clair and her companions managed to obtained video footage capturing two individuals clad in black attire breaching the tower's perimeter on the night of Rolwin's disappearance. Their faces remained obscured in the footage, yet their expertise was evident. One of them carried a black bag, moved with calculated precision. The video, brief in duration, only showed the men entering through the tower's main gates, offering no further details.
"No doubt. They're humans," Hilgen remarked.
"If those humans shot the syringe at Rolwin from the tower and actually hit him, there had to be more of them involved. They must have taken Rolwin and disappeared to who knows where," Cerro said, then he turned to Clair, who stood beside him, eyes fixed on the screen.
"We've been exposed," she murmured, a note of concern in her voice.
"The very thought of hivrins hunting us is scandalous," Hilgen said nonchalantly. "This news will certainly disturb the council."
Cerro glanced back at Clair, detecting traces of concern beneath her composed facade.
"One of the humans at the theater claimed they heard nothing unusual that night, only a fireworks display lasting about fifteen minutes," she reported. "Fast forward the footage by four hours and thirty-seven minutes," she instructed Cerro, who complied.
"There. Those lights were from the fireworks between eleven twenty-four and eleven thirty-eight," she pointed out. "They left the tower at eleven forty-three. During that window, Rolwin was shot and fell from the theater roof, vanishing," she continued, her tone grave, before collecting herself.
"Are you suggesting the fireworks were used to distract Rolwin before he was injected with the syringe?" Cerro inquired.
"Likely. Those things are bright and loud, enough to overwhelm our senses," she replied. "We'll probe the disappearances of the other two victims. We need more evidence linking their cases to Rolwin's. We'll proceed tonight," she commanded.

Two days later, Clair and her team reached their second destination in Mongolia, where they encountered their next case, Norbiel, a lieutenant in the army, who mysteriously disappeared while driving through the streets of Altai at night. His abandoned car was later located in a distant cornfield. Despite thorough searching in the area, they found no evidence but took note of the distance from his car's location to his last known route.
With the assistance of the local Fallens, they managed to catch a sight of Norbiel's car, already impounded by the authorities. It lay charred and empty. According to the police report, no one was inside. Disheartened by the lack of evidence within the burnt wreckage, the team found themselves at a loss. Preparing to depart for their next destination, someone approached them.
"I'm Delgor. I have information about Lieutenant Norbiel's case," he revealed.
Hilgen recognized him instantly. "And why should we believe anything you have to say? I know you all too well. You were sent here because of your deceitful nature," he accused.
"I understand your skepticism, and I'm not here to justify my past. I acknowledge my wrongdoing, but listening to my perspective will only require a few minutes from you. It's your choice whether to believe it or not. I haven't disclosed my knowledge to anyone else. I am aware of the other disappearances. These cases are too critical to be overlooked. That's why I want to confide only in those I am absolutely certain can act on it," Delgor replied, his tone serious.
