"Four days ago, Eifrit headed to Istanbul to help ease the escalating tensions among humans. We've been at this for a long time, striving to prevent wars between countries. However, on our last mission, Eifrit went alone. I followed after three days, but I lost contact with her along the way. When I arrived, our human companions informed me that she hadn't returned after scouting the grounds of the Sorigol District. I searched there, but found no sign of her... only this." Zentur revealed an arrow belonging to Eifrit. "And this," he added, placing a large, empty syringe made of silver metal on the table. "I believe something has happened to her," he declared, his voice filled with certainty as worries and anger mixed in his expression.

"I tried to get a sample from the syringe, but it was empty. Probably washed away by the rain," Filbur said disappointedly. "I reached out to the Fallens in the north and south, and they provided me with related information. There's a confirmed report detailing the disappearances of three other Fallens, all occurring just last year. In one of those cases, they also found a strange syringe."

"Does that mean somebody is hunting us?" Per asked, her voice filled with concern.

"That's what we're thinking too, but so far, nobody has any clue as to who the hunters might be," Filbur answered. "Two separate investigations are still ongoing to locate the victims and determine what happened to them, but there has been no further progress in the cases," he added.

Zentur approached Clair and knelt before her, his voice pleading, "Please, Claireth, we need your help. Help us find Eifrit. I truly believe she's still alive."

Clair exchanged a glance with Cerro, silently communicating their mutual understanding. "Eifrit is our friend, and this concerns our own kind. We'll do everything we can to find her." she assured Zentur.

He placed his dagger at Clair's feet and bowed deeply. "In return, I offer you my loyal service for as long as I draw breath," he declared firmly.

Accepting the dagger, Clair returned it to him, remarking, "Keep it. You'll likely need it. I sense darkness in this. There's more to come, and we need to be prepared."

Zach observed the scene, feeling both tense and astonished by the intensity in the air.

Clair glanced at Per, her expression serious. "Get the room ready. We'll finalize our plan before nightfall."

Zach returned to his room alone, while the others gathered for a meeting. Clair had assured him that everything would be fine, but he sensed it was something more serious.

Their meeting stretched into its fourth hour, just minutes before evening. Zach stayed in his room, working on his school papers. After two more hours, Clair knocked gently on his door, and he promptly opened it.

"Are you getting ready for bed?" she inquired.

"Almost, just wrapping up some paperwork," he replied, gesturing to the papers spread across his desk.

She stepped inside, closing the door softly behind her. "I won't be around to say goodbye tomorrow, so I thought I'd catch you before you go to sleep," she explained, attempting a smile.

"Going somewhere?" he asked, a hint of concern creeping into his tone.

"Yes, tonight... with Cerro," she replied before noticing the shift in his expression.
