When Mr. Volkov heard a loud bang, he immediately grasped the situation. He scoffed. "So, this is what it feels like to defy divinity," he remarked, then burst into laughter.

The two operators returned to the control room, panting as they spoke.

"Sir, all surveillance cameras are down," one of the men reported breathlessly. "There's nothing we can do. Someone destroyed them."

Mr. Volkov immediately directed half of his men to go to the lab, he then entrusted the collar control to one of them and dispatched them swiftly. Simultaneously, he ordered the other half to secure the entrance against intruders. He then dialed a number on his phone, contacting the guard stationed outside Zach's room on the second floor. "Take the boy to the chopper," he commanded. He understood that Zach was Clair's vulnerability. Even if his current plan failed, he knew he could always capture her as long as he had him. He then dialed Yustin's number, but there was no answer. "Where the hell are you?" he muttered, frustrated. Quickly, he called another operator in the room. "You! Find Yustin," he ordered.

The operator promptly left the room to carry out his instructions.

As Clair approached the last two tanks, the collars around her body delivered a powerful electric shock, causing her to stumble and collapse. The shock was so intense that moving became a struggle. Gasping for air, she closed her eyes briefly. When she reopened them, she found herself surrounded by armed men. With effort, she reached for the control panel and managed to pull herself upright. They all trained their guns on her as she stood, her legs trembling.

"There's no point in resisting. You'll only harm yourself," the man in the center declared, his gun aimed directly at her.

Clair noticed something in his grasp: the device controlling the collars. Realizing she was unable to fight back, she relented. "You will all face consequences for this. Hell is real, and it's worse than you can imagine," she warned them.

"Shut up!" the man barked, then signaled to another holding a silver syringe.

Clair understood they still didn't know about her immunity to the drug. Allowing the man to approach, she waited patiently. But before he could get any closer, she finally felt what she had been waiting for. Her weapon freed, she shot a fierce glare at the man before her. Catching his attention, she twisted and delivered a powerful blow with her left wing. Before she could react, another electric shock coursed through her, causing her to scream and collapse.

"Inject her now!" the man holding the control device ordered.

Two men rushed towards Clair as she crawled away from the tanks, one brandishing a silver syringe. He swiftly jabbed it into her right leg. Within moments, her movements ceased, and she closed her eyes.

"We've got her, sir," the man who administered the shot reported.

As the man holding the control device approached, the other man restraining Clair's arms suddenly reached out and crudely groped her left breast, chuckling wickedly.

"You dirty bastard," the man who had injected her sneered, then chuckled.

As the man with the control device leaned down to check on her, she swiftly seized his arm, wrenching it until it broke with a loud snap. He screamed in pain, dropping the device to the floor. Before the man who had injected her could react, she snatched the device and smashed it into his face, shattering it.

Ignoring their injured comrades, the other men around her opened fire.

Clair used her wings to shield her body. She then opened a portal and summoned her weapon. As dark smoke and black bolts emanated from her, the gunfire momentarily ceased. Some men fled the room in fear, but many remained.
