Chapter 40. Hope everyone had an amazing Valentines day. Hope you’re all enjoying. I have to say I feel like this is my favourite chapter yet. Love you guys. Thank you for voting. 📖❤

Two years. Two whole years and nothing has changed.

Nothings changed and do you know what? I couldn’t be happier. I really couldn’t. I think it would be easier to tell you what has changed.

Well first things first and the most scary part is....I turn fucking 30 this year! How the hell am I turning 30 this year?? Just having a mental breakdown about that....

Okay so apart from that.....

Aaron and River got married! It was the most amazing day. It was August just gone, it was beautiful. They said their vows underneath a moonlight sky.

Aaron wore a crisp white suit, with a dusky pink tie and River wore a midnight blue suit, with a steal grey tie.

We had to laugh because Aaron asked my Jay to be his maid of honour, to which Jay replied “Of course I will but I’m not carrying flowers".

“But you’re okay with the dress?” Aaron and I say in monotone and the conversation ends in fits of laughter.

Of course he didn’t wear a dress. Oh no, my man was dressed in a pale grey suit, clean, crisp white shirt and dusky pink tie to match Aaron’s tie and my bridesmaid dress. It was truly a beautiful day. They had been to the registry office the day before with Jay and I for the official stuff and the following evening, we all gathered under the trees in our garden at home at 9.30pm for a ceremony.

I had been the official wedding planner as well as chief bridesmaid so this time I will fully take all the credit.

It was a small wedding, Rivers parents and grandparents made up the very small number of people who were invited. They wanted it to be at our home. Aaron said it was the most important place to him and it made him feel close to family. I cried. I've gone all mushy since being in love.

Jay cried like a baby for most of the day and it just made me love him so much more. We have been inseparable since I came here.

Steph visits a lot with baby Colson, who definitely isn’t a baby anymore, two years old and getting into everything. Graham proposed in New York at Christmas, a few months after I left Pembrokeshire.

I planned the whole thing with Graham too. Obviously Steph received the tickets to New York at the baby shower and a few months later when they boarded the plane, I had them upgraded to first class.

Steph had never been abroad before so she was so excited, a little nervous, I think the flight is about 10 hours from our airport. Nevertheless, when she finally got there, she fell in love with the place. After a lovely meal in the poshest restaurant we could find, Graham took her on a carriage ride round Central Park.

“It was like a movie Ali". Steph screeched down the phone at me when they returned home. “The snow was falling, he wrapped me up in his coat and a fluffy blanket, there was hot chocolate and marshmallows”. She pauses to take a breath. “And then he proposed. Oh my god Ali, I wish you could have been there. It was the most magical night of my life”.

I was so happy for her. She had started planning the wedding but nothing massively planned yet. One amazing thing for me while Steph and Graham were in New York, was baby Colson came to stay with me.

I wasn’t too sure about it at first but when I asked Jay, he had no hesitation and agreed straight away.

“Of course Ali, I love children”. We had, had the discussion a few times over the last year about children. We've had many conversations just laying in bed together, agreeing that we want two children, if we would possibly move further outside the centre, everything most normal couples talk about after one two many drinks or late nights.
