Chapter 21. I hope you're all enjoying the story as much as I'm enjoying writing it. Double update, may even be a triple update cuz I'm on a role haha. ❤📖

And again days go by, just as life goes on and soon enough the days turn into weeks and the weeks into months and before I know it again, it's been 4 months since he came back into my life.

4 months. 4 whole months of Milo. It's been non stop sex, dinner dates, cinema dates and everything in between. We're more like fuck-best -friends than fuck-buddies.

Cue stupid movie montage of us falling in love.

Joking.

We haven't, well he hasn't. We've been sneaking back and forth between each others room. Everything was great. We weren't in a relationship but we we're as good as. The gang had great pleasure of taking the piss out of us for months. "When is Milo going to propose?" "When are you two going to have a baby?" "When are you two going to finally get together?" I just laughed it off. Its too much pressure. It's been 4 months. Why does everyone want to give us a label.

Milo laughs it off too but his smile never touches his eyes. We never sat cuddled on the settee or anything it was generally just a text to each other whenever the other one was feeling turned on. We just happened to go to dinner sometimes but it was always as friends and we had a good time but I suppose I was always just hoping for that brush of a hand to tell me he wanted more too. We never discussed our 'relationship' and for a while I was okay with that but as time went on, I felt like I was falling in love with him and I never told him because if he rejected me, he would leave my life. At least this way he would be in my life, even if it wasn't in the way I wanted.

Steph had a blossoming baby bump and we've found we're having a little boy. Eeeeek! Steph and Graham are as happy as ever, being ever so the cutest couple around. Dan is now seeing Kayla a lovely teacher from his school. Me and Steph told him about Jenna the day after I found out she was pregnant. We thought it would be better coming from us than Kyle. Speaking of whom, he got reported for tattooing underage girls and possibly sleeping with them too but that was just a rumour . He packed up from his flat and the shop and moved away. Apparently there was an anonymous call to the police about the girls and he got arrested. I was glad to be rid of him. It wasn't fun bumping into him on nights out especially because Milo was there too.

Luke and Sarah have had their little girl. Violet, she is the cutest thing with her father's silky blonde hair and her mother's striking blue eyes. They moved out when she was 8 months pregnant and are now happily living just across the road in a bungalow so we see them a lot.

Steph and Graham have moved in together up stairs and she promises me they aren't going to leave but I wouldn't blame them if they did after the baby is born.

Work is great. Life was great....that was about to change.

Fast forward to Steph's baby shower. May the 4th. I chose that date because Graham loves Star wars so it seemed fitting. I had arranged it all. We had it at the house, the weather was stunning which is a change for Pembrokeshire, so we had a garden party. Steph said she wanted a shower for her and Graham not just her so everyone was invited. I had spent all morning cooking a buffet style feast and I had cupcakes coming out of my eyeballs. The cocktails were in the fridge and the champagne was on ice. The baby shower was probably the last time I remember being really happy. It all started off so great.

Everyone started arriving around 12pm and I was in full hostess mode, filling glasses and handing out trays of food. Milo had been avoiding me for the last few days and I just assumed it was because I was stressed trying to make the party perfect. Was he pulling away? I don't know. We had been pretty full on lately but he hadn't actually said anything so I just carried on like normal. I hadn't been with anyone else and as far as I know he hadn't either.
