DANNI P.O.V.

I woke up to a light and a buzzing noise all around me, the bed was too hard to be at home. I tried to sit up, but a hand was on my shoulder. I looked up, Bradie. I should have known. He was always the good guy.

“shhh,” he said. With his pointed finger over his mouth.

“What?” I asked.

“Its ok,” he said.

“Where am I?” I asked a little creped out.

“You’re in the hospital, you fainted yesterday,”

I looked at my arm, an IV drip. What have they done to me? I tried to pull it out but Bradie’s firm grip grabbed my hand. I looked at his muscles. They were bulging out of his shirt.

“No,” he said firmly.

That’s when May walked into the room with two coffee’s in her hand. Her eyes were on me and then at Bradie’s hand who still had mine pinned. Bradie let me go and stepped back.

“Danni, leave that in!” said May.

I tried my luck again. I went down and pulled it out. Bradie looked away like he didn’t see what I was doing.

“Nurse!” called May.

A nurse quickly came down and saw the IV had dropped out of my arm and me wide awake.

“Darling, I’m afraid you’re going to have to keep that in,” Said the nurse as she put back the needle in my arm.

“I’m fine!” I said hard.

“Look darl, it’s not the end of the world but keep it in for now, or we’ll have you sedated,”

Was that a threat?

“Come at me bro!” I spat back.

Bradie let off a little giggle and was trying to hold in a laugh. He turned his whole body around and I could see his body shaking from laughter although we couldn’t hear it. The nurse went to May and May just nodded. Well what a dumb threat I thought. The nurse came back in with a needle this time, she wasn’t kidding. I tried to squirm but she was strong. I watched the clear liquid go from the needle into my arm. That’s when I felt drowsy, the blackness came and took me away.

I woke up in a panic, trying to figure out what and how I ended up here. May was on the chair next to the bed reading a magazine.

“May?” I asked.

“Danni, are you ok baby?” she asked.

I looked around, still a little groggy, my head was pounding, what had I done this time?

“What did I do?” I asked, unsure of why I was even here.

“Lets just say you pushed a nurse!” she said.

“I what?!”

“Wow, that came out wrong, you pulled the IV drip out and told the nurse to “come at you bro,”” recorrected may.

“Did I? I thought that was all a dream,” I frowned.

“What’s up baby girl?” Asked May.

“I don’t know, I just remembered back to when I fainted,” I said, recounting the events.

“Tell me about it?” asked May.

“Well I felt faint and then I went to sit down at the bench and I felt weak, then I felt Bradie pick my head up and then he was calling you, I wanted to tell him, I was alright but I just didn’t have the energy.” I retold.

I looked around the room, flowers and cards saying to get better, a big teddy bear in the corner, with a t-shirt on it. The t-shirt had a troll face on it and it said “problem, you mad, come at me bro,” I laughed. Who ever gave me that was a legend.

“Who’s that teddy?” I asked May.

She sat up straight in the chair.

“Yours, from Andy, Bradie and Shaun,” said May.

“Oh!” I said.
