Chapter 14~ Be Mine Danni

BRADIE P.O.V.

I decided that it was probably better to take a lift then get there late and with Andy who dawdles along like there is no tomorrow, I thought other wise. Danni’s car was so sleek and smooth and the way she drove it was so careful and precise. May shouted out directions to the school and we ended getting there right on time, I got out from the car, everybody was looking at us. Probably that I was in a car that was of European and it really stood out in the car park.

“Hey thanks Danni, May,” I said as I went to go to the notice board to see what class I was in.

“No problem, hey what time do you guys finish, i’ll pick youse up?” She asked.

“I don’t need picking up because we’ll just walk home, it’s too much trouble,” I said hesitantly.

“Of course it’s no trouble, Andy come here!” Danni Shouted.

Andy came back his eyes curious. Danni tightened up his tie and pulled down his collar.

“Hey!” Cried Andy.

“Poor baby!” Said Danni with a sympathetic look on her face that was sarcastic.

Andy looked like he struggled with a comeback, I for one had never seen him look so horrified.

“Thanks’ mum!” Sighed Andy, going for the obvious.

“Danni, we have to get going. Bradie, have a good day right!” Said May.

Danni and May walked off to the office and I went to go and find Andy and Shaun, I found them at the usual meeting place which was just past the gates and under the big oak tree. Andy had undone his tie again and his collar stuck out in all directions. Shaun had his tie slightly undone, his pants pulled down so you could see his undies when he sat down. And for me I had everything in perfect order. I even had my blazer on.

“So, I saw you guys got a lift in Danni’s car! I’m jelly!” Said Shaun.

“Yeah, I’m so jelly of it too!” Andy said quickly.

“Guess who’s in my homeroom?” Asked Shaun slightly enthusiastic.

“Lemme guess, you’re forever alone?” Said Andy.

“No Bradie! He’s my Bitch now!” Said Shaun, punching me in the arm.

“Get your own bitch, he’s mine!” Andy stood up.

Oh boy, here we go again, Shaun and Andy are always at each others throat.

“I’m not anybodies bitch!” I said, trying to stand up for myself.

That’s when the bell went and I went to check on the notice board for my name. Its not hard to find because I’m always last on the roll call. They place it alphabetical order of your surname. Sure enough I was with Shaun in 12 A and Andy being in 12 B. I walked to my form room and it was opposite the office, inside I could see Danni and May waiting. I sat at the desk closest to where she was and I tried to get her attention. She looked up to where I was and waved. May looked up from her magazine she was reading and saw me, she had a smile and then Danni cracked up laughing. I looked behind me and Shaun had already sat next to me and pulled out a piece of paper that read “Be Mine Danni!” and an arrow that pointed to me. I scrunched it up and shoved it down Shaun’s shirt. That’s when the teacher walked in and sent me to the office, oh this year was going to be fun with Shaun.
