Chapter 18~ Make Out

BRADIE P.O.V.

I went out the school gate and there was Danni in her car waiting, the passenger seat empty. She wound her window down and shouted at me.

“Quick Bradie, get shot gun before Andy does!”

I laughed. I looked at her face, her eyes were red raw from crying. Then Andy came over with Shaun. Both of them arguing over something.

“Hey Danni, can I get a lift too?” asked Shaun.

“That depends, did you apologise to Bradie?” She said back. Her face starting to lighten up a little more.

“No, Bradie is my Bitch!” said Shaun. I was really ready to punch him.

“Excuse me but none of you own Bradie! Therefore he is nobodies Bitch!” Danni retorted, really getting into it.

“Ok, I’m sorry Bradie man!” Shaun said sarcastically.

“Haha, not good enough!” Said Danni.

“Ok, here’s the deal. Next time we go to Maccas, my shout?” Shaun pleaded.

Danni thought about it and then she lent over the steering wheel, she held where her heart was. Something was definitely wrong.

“Danni, are you ok?” I asked.

“Yeah, I’m fine. Shaun an apology was the entire requirement for a lift home!” Danni said.

“Ok, I’m really sorry Bradie, I love you. I wanna spoon with you!”

“You’re pushing your boundaries Shaun!” said Danni. “Get in you big woose!” 

I loved it when Danni had the power over Shaun, I had never seen anybody have the upper hand on him before. I got into the front seat and Shaun and Andy got into the back. Danni drove us back to May’s house and I stopped her before she could go any further. Andy and Shaun went back to our house.

“Are you sure you’re alright? I mean, I saw you crying outside of school and even May had a look of sadness about her,”

A tear started to fall down Danni’s face.

“Bradie, I have something to tell you. But this is between me and you ok?” she asked.

“I promise,” I was good at keeping secret and I wanted her to know that she could trust me. Plus she stood up for me when Shaun was being an absolute dick and nobody has ever done that for me. I followed her up to her bedroom and sat next to  her on the bed. She had the troll face teddy in her arms and she began to tell me about her heart being weak and that she had to go to the doctors every week now. Tears streamed down her face, I held her in my arms while we talked about different things. We sat there for ages, the seconds turned to minutes the minutes turning into hours.

“You know what Bradie, you’re a real good guy, I love it when we have these chats,” Danni sat up smiling. Her cheeks turning a rosy colour and I leant in to kiss her. Our lips touched and our kissing intensified. Her hand was beginning to tangle into my hair. This was amazing. Then we stopped when there was a knock the door. May barged in and Danni bit her bottom lip.

“So I’m taking it that Bradie knows?” asked May.

“Yes he does,” Said Danni.

She turned to me and gave me a smile, I couldn’t help but smile.

“Alright, I better be off, I have homework to do.” I said.

“Oh, I’m sorry,” Said May. “I’ll leave you two alone,”

May must have known that we were making out. I got my bag and headed out of the room.

“If you ever want to chat, you have my number, but here it is again if you’ve lost it,” I grabbed my pen out of my pocket and wrote on her arm my number.

“Thanks Bradie,” Said Danni, blushing so hard. I walked down the stairs and called out, “Goodnight May!” she replied with a “Night Bradie!”

That’s when I jumped the fence and went back home.
