Chapter 21~ School Time

DANNI P.O.V.        

I watched Bradie run around the room like the mad hatter. I played with my keys and then Andy came out.

“Andy,” I called.

“Look, I’m sorry to scare you like that. I bet you couldn’t get me better!”

I was going to make him a challenge.

“Bet’s on,”

Andy and I shook hands. Bradie got his bag and had an apple in his hand ready to go.

“Are you coming?” I asked Andy.

“Yes, but I have to straighten my hair first!” He pointed to his birds nest.

“Just gel it!” I said.

“What?” He asked

“Bradie do you have hair gel that I could use?” I asked

Bradie looked at Andy.

“No we only have hairspray,”

“That’ll do!”

I followed Andy to the Bathroom and sprayed up the back of his hair. I got out my hair brush that I carry around in my back pack and used hair spray to straighten his fringe.

“Now it will last for a couple of days!” I said. “Now lets move, we have to pick up Shaun!”

Bradie got into Shot gun again and Andy in the back still messing about with his hair. I swear he cared more about his hair than mine. I put a little bit of hairspray in mine to hold it together. We picked up Shaun and went to school. Shaun kept teasing Andy about the night before and kept on saying how I had got Andy so good.

“Now Andy’s the little bitch!” Said Shaun as we pulled up into the car park at school.

I got out of the car so fast and I felt a little bit dizzy. I held onto my door to steady myself, I could feel my heart beat and then stop, then beat again. I dropped my bag and then Bradie came to my aid. He helped me up.

“I’m alright,” I reassured myself.

“Are you sure cause like you can go back home, I can drive you?” He asked.

I shook my head, Bradie had me in his arms and people were staring at us, I didn’t care. I gave him a quick peck on the lips.

“Thank you!” I said and gave him a hug. I picked up my bag and headed into the office to pick up everything that I needed.

“Miss Lale!” called Mr Kemp.

I turned around and he motioned me to go into his office. I sat down in the same chair as last time.

“May has informed me about you, I expect that if you feel sick at any time, you have permission to use your phone and to leave the school premises at any time.”

I didn’t know what to say.

“Also, she wanted a student to be with you all the time. But other than that, enjoy your first day here. Also my office is open all the time to have a chat,” Mr Kemp smiled.

“Thank you Mr. Kemp, I’ll keep that in mind.”

I left his office and went back to the ladies who gave me my things that I needed for the day.
