Chapter 8~ Band Prac

BRADIE POV

I was such a loser, how could I be so stupid. Really I should have walked around the fence but being Bradie, I jumped it. Danni came around the front driveway and came up the steps. I heard Andy and Shaun Discussing the new track that we were going to demo soon. Hopefully we could get it up on Myspace.

“Sorry about those two toss pots, just ignore them, I do,” I said before opening the door. I motioned for her to go through first. She stopped and waited for me.

“Bradie!” shouted Andy. “Shaun thinks that there is too much bass in this and not enough electric,”

“I didn’t say that!” argued Shaun.

“Yeah you did!” Said Andy back.

“Moving on,” I said quietly and just audible.

I gave Danni a tour of the house, although it was not a two story like May’s but it was cosy.

“So you play drums right?” asked Danni.

“Yeah, but i’m not that good at it though,”

“Can I make that judgement?” She asked.

“Sure, we can give you a live performance if you want it?” I said, I wanted to show off a little.

“Sure,” she said. A hidden smirk was coming across her face.

We found Andy and Shaun still down in the basement, they were jamming to a couple of tracks. They saw us and I went to the drum kit ready to start playing. I searched around to find the other drum stick, wondering where it was. I looked up and saw Danni holding it. She walked over to where I was sitting and handed it to me.

“Ready to begin?” I asked the boys.

Shaun and Andy began to play the first notes of Shimmy a go go.

Oh, can I catch your eye tonight, so beside myself tonight, so beside myself tonight.

“Wait!” yelled Andy. We all stopped and turned to look at him.

“Go back to the orginal version, this one is creepy, it doesn’t suit.” He said and we started off again.
