I was biting my lip habang nakatingin sa labas ng bahay ni Logan. I'm not here because I want to live with him like he wants, but to settle things about our kids—ang mga anak namin.

Hindi ko alam kung paano ako nakabalik dito. This house holds so many memories—mula sa pinakamasaya hanggang sa pinakamasakit.

I sighed heavily, thinking about the possible outcomes of this conversation. Pero para sa mga bata, I'll endure it all.

I pressed the doorbell twice. I'm not sure if he's here, but considering the time—exactly 8 PM—malaki ang chance na andito siya. I hope.

Napaatras ako when the gate suddenly opened. Akala ko si Logan, but my heart ached when I saw who it really was. My heart raced, and tears welled up in my eyes.

I immediately walked toward her and hugged her tight. I missed her so much. Hindi na siya bata, she's a young lady now—my daughter!

"L-Liara," my voice cracked as I said her name. I'm sorry, baby. I'm so sorry.

"M-Mommy." Mas lalo akong naiyak when she spoke.

"Yes, baby. It's Mommy. I'm here now. Stop crying, okay? Mommy's here," I said, trying to comfort her as she sobbed harder.

"I missed you, Mom," she whispered, tightening her embrace.

"I know, baby. I missed you too. I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry."

She eventually pulled away and led me inside. "Daddy's not here, Mom. He comes home late."How could he leave Liara alone?

"I hate Dad, Mom."

Agad kong hinawakan ang kamay niya at umiling. "No, baby. Don't hate your daddy, okay? Mommy will get mad."

"But Mom, he's the reason you left! And he's not being a dad anymore! He changed, Mom," she insisted.

I gently stroked her cheek and wiped her tears. "Do you want to come with Mommy?" I asked.

She froze for a moment, then gripped my hand tightly. "Of course, Mom! I want to stay with you."I smiled at her, brushing her hair affectionately. She's grown into such a beautiful, fine young lady. I'm so proud.

As we entered the apartment, napapalinga-linga siya sa paligid. I wasn't sure if the twins were awake, pero pinatingnan ko sila sa kapitbahay.

"Is this your house, Mommy?" Liara asked, curious.

I knew she was shocked. She was used to our luxurious life, and now, she's seeing how simple things have become.

I sighed and motioned for her to sit on the sofa. "Liara, baby, you're smart. Alam mo naman ang nangyari sa amin ng Daddy mo, diba? We parted ways, and things have changed. I'm sorry for leaving you that day. I was hurting, but I didn't realize you were too. Will you forgive Mommy? Will you?"
