I woke up to the sound of faint voices, soft at first but growing louder. Rubbing my eyes, I remembered that I was at Logan's house.

"Hi!"

Startled, I turned toward the voice, gripping the comforter tightly. My heart raced with shock and nervousness.

"W-what are you..." I stammered, unable to finish my sentence.

They were sitting together on the couch, still in their pajamas, clearly not having done their morning routine yet.

"Hi!" Liara repeated, and I glanced at her in confusion. I could feel the tears rolling down my face, but the three pairs of eyes staring at me made me forget about it.

"Daddy woke us up early, saying you're here! You're real, mommy!" Lexi exclaimed, scooting closer to poke my cheek.

Am I dreaming?

"Why aren't you talking, mommy? Are you still sick?" Lexi asked innocently as she crawled beside me.

"She's not sick, Lex!" Liara shouted. "Daddy said she's fine now!"

Lexi beamed. "Really?" She turned around and tugged at her brother's hand.

"Look, kuya! Mommy's here! I wished it to Santa! See, Santa is real!"

This is real. Everything is real.

I panicked when Lexus started to cry, just a soft whimper, but enough to break my heart.

"W-why? It's okay, it's okay..." I whispered, pulling him into a hug. He buried his face in my chest, and I couldn't see him. I stroked his back, feeling the heavy flow of my own tears.

I cried silently, holding back from breaking down in front of them, especially as I saw the other two on the verge of tears as well.

The two girls hugged me from the sides, and I bowed my head, crying with them. The pain, the exhaustion, the doubts—they all faded with just one embrace.

"M-mommy, you're not leaving anymore, right?" Liara's question made me freeze. I could only nod, unable to bring myself to speak. I didn't want to break their hearts again.

I promised myself that I would finish everything I needed to do so I could be with them. The girls pulled away from the hug and kissed me on both cheeks. "Merry Christmas, mommy..." they whispered.

I mouthed my greetings to them, and they both giggled.

"Are you alright, Lexus?" I asked softly. He nodded, but he didn't let go of me.I laughed and gently patted his head. The scar from the accident was barely visible now.I adjusted my position to look at all of them. I still couldn't believe it...
