"Natsu!" Gray has ran up the hill seeing Natsu sitting at the very top. "Hey Gray." Natsu said conversationally as Gray bent over, panting.
"What's going on?" Gray had practically fell onto the ground, dropping all his weight into the empty spot next to Natsu.
"Nothing. Just watching the sunset."
Gray hummed.
"Pretty, huh?"
The two boys sat in silence with the only noise being their soft breathing. The many scars they've earned from battles showing in the sun as it slowly slid down the horizon.
"It's been a long time, hasn't it?" Gray asked, looking over at Natsu. Pink hair, scaly white scarf, red FairyTail mark on his shoulder.
"It has. Sometimes I wish I could restart and live everything all over again." Natsu looked back at Gray. Black hair, chain necklace, navy blue FairyTail mark on his chest. No shirt, classic Gray style.
They looked away, back towards the sun. Natsu scooted over, leaning against Gray, closing his eyes.
"I love you Gray."
"I love you too, Natsu."
