My Favorite Student (Diavolo x Reader)

Diavolo's POV

It has been eight months since the four exchange students, Simeon, Luke, Solomon, and (y/n), arrived at the Devildom. I knew Simeon, Luke, and Solomon could defend themselves if they ever found themselves in trouble with a low-level demon. I was mostly worried about (y/n), in the eight months she has been in the Devildom she has been able to make pacts with nearly all the demon brothers, with the exemption of Lucifer and Belphie. Although she made pacts with five of the most powerful demons in the Devildom, I still felt as if she wasn't safe. I began to ask Lucifer how (y/n) was doing and if she was having any trouble with her time in RAD or the Devildom. Lucifer would always give me the same answer,

"(Y/n) is fine, Lord Diavolo, You don't have to worry about her. We have her safe at all times."

I was growing irritated that Lucifer wasn't giving me an honest answer, so I've decided that I would invite (y/n) to come to my castle after her classes were over today.

Diavolo: Hello, (Y/n)! I would like to invite you to come to my palace today, after your classes, I would like to talk to you about something urgent.

(Y/n): Of course, Lord Diavolo! I'll see you around three if that time is okay for you?

Diavolo: Of course, my dear (y/n). I'll be waiting for you!

I put my phone down and began to feel a sense of excitement to see (y/n). She was so beautiful and had a sweet voice that makes my heart melt and makes me feel like I need to do everything in my power to protect her. She has the softest (e/c) eyes that are always filled with happiness and a smile that takes my breath away. I adore the way her beautiful (h/l) (h/c) hair frames her gorgeous face, like when the air makes her hair dance in the wind. (Y/n) is just so perfect, I wish I could have her move in with me in my palace. I would make sure she lived comfortably here and give her whatever she wanted. That was when I noticed Barbatos had walked in in the middle of me spacing out.

"I'm sorry to interrupt you, my Lord. But, I have your afternoon tea ready for you in the garden patio." He had a small smile and was gesturing his arm towards the door to escort me to the garden.

"Thank you, Barbatos. Let's go then." I stood up from my desk and began making my way to where I would be taking my tea. Barbatos began to tell me the events on my way to the garden.

"My Lord, Lucifer has come to have tea with you, and he is already in the garden waiting for you. After your tea, you have a meeting with a delegate about the revenues made from RAD's events." Barbatos was nearly running to keep up with me, so I slowed down my pace. I had forgotten entirely about my meeting with the delegate at one. (Y/n) had said she would be here by three, so I should be able to finish my meeting with the ambassador in that time-frame.

"Thank you, Barbatos. I'll walk the rest of the way to the garden, go ahead and rest up before the arrival of the delegate." He bowed and made his way to his bedroom in the palace.

When I arrived at the garden patio, Lucifer was looking at his phone and looked a bit irritated.

"Lucifer, how are you doing today, my friend?" I asked with a massive smile on my face.

"Pardon me, Lord Diavolo, but, why are you holding a meeting with (y/n)?" He said bluntly with a stern look on his face. I just smiled and responded,

"Well, Lucifer, I just wanted to check in with her and see if she is enjoying her stay in the Devildom. It is nothing you should be concerned about, Lucifer. If our meeting ends too late, I shall walk her to the House of Lamentation myself, or I will have Barbatos prepare a room for her here in the palace. I, of course, will update you on whether (y/n) will stay here or not." I saw that he disapproved of the entire idea but, how had he found out about the meeting already? Had (y/n) told him, was she scared of me or something?
