A/N: This is part two of the confession chapter! This time we have the side characters (excluding Luke). I hope you enjoy it! 💛
Diavolo
I was pacing back and forth in my office, awaiting the arrival of my good friend, Lucifer. I had invited him over because I wanted to discuss the feelings I had developed for (y/n) during her stay in the Devildom. The school year was going to be over in a month, meaning the exchange program would end and (y/n) would go back home. I wanted to tell her before then because, if she wished to stay with me, then I would allow it. But, as with all things, I wanted Lucifer's approval.
*knock knock*
"My Lord, Lucifer, has arrived." Barbatos was bowed at the door, and once he finished speaking, he straightened out and opened the door all the way, allowing for Lucifer to walk in.
"Thank you, Barbatos! Could you make us some tea? We'll head down to the gazebo in about ten minutes." I smiled at him, and he bowed and responded.
"Yes, My Lord!" He left, leaving Lucifer and me alone in my office.
"Come, sit down, Lucifer. I have some things I need to discuss with you!" I made my way to my office chair and sat down, facing the demon I trusted the most. (Sorry, Barbatos)
"What is it that you would like to discuss, Lord Diavolo?" Lucifer asked me, a concerned look in his eyes since we had already had a discussion two days ago about the events of the week.
"Don't worry, Lucifer, I need to talk to you about something personal!" I tried my best not to sound nervous and smiled at him.
"Very well, what do you need to talk about then, Lord Diavolo? Is someone bothering you? I can reprimand them if you'd like!" Lucifer began to sound like a worried mother that found out their child was being bullied in school.
"No, Lucifer, this person doesn't require that you do anything to them, at least not negatively." I let out a loud laugh before I continued.
"I seem to have developed feelings for (y/n), and I would like to tell her about these feelings before she left. Do you think it's wise for me to do so?" I looked down at my desk, feeling insecure about telling (y/n) my feelings for her.
"Lord Diavolo, I believe you should tell her how you genuinely feel! If you don't, you may end up regret it later! I can understand feeling insecure about confessing your true feelings to the person you feel attracted to." Lucifer had gotten out of his chair and came to my side to comfort me by placing a hand on my shoulder and squeezing it.
"Well, if you really think it's wise for me to tell her, then I will. Let's go to the Gazebo; I'm sure Barbatos is done making our tea! We can plan the confession out there!" I got up and signaled him to follow me outside.
Time skip to a week after the meeting with Lucifer
A week had gone by since I discussed with Lucifer what I should do to confess my feelings to (y/n). We decided that I would have her sleepover my palace, and I would confess my feelings for her on the first night of the sleepover. If she didn't feel the same, it was going to be an awkward week.
Barbatos was in the process of gathering all the things needed for (y/n). He said that it would help me learn more about human culture if I ate human food and played human world games. So, tonight we were going to have garlic butter salmon with roasted potatoes and steamed vegetables. I had no idea what that was but, Barbatos said that it's excellent! Now all I had to do was wait patiently for their arrival.
I was waiting in the common room for Lucifer and (y/n)'s arrival. I began to read a book on human history and found that a lot of things caught my interest; I'll ask her about it throughout this week, and maybe she can teach me about it in a more in-depth way. As I was imagining how cute (y/n) would look telling me about the Renaissance, someone was knocking lightly at the door.
