My Precious Rose (Barbatos x Reader)

You were walking around the halls of RAD after classes were over, you didn't feel like going home after school, and you had decided to take a walk around the campus. You eventually bumped into Lucifer, Diavolo, and Barbatos walking down the hall. Diavolo noticed you first and called out for you,

"(Y/n)! How are you doing?" Diavolo exclaimed with a massive smile on his face.

"Oh, good evening, Lord Diavolo, Barbatos, and Lucifer! I'm doing good, I just felt like taking in the fantastic scenery and architecture of RAD. I think it is stunning, and I would love to see the blueprint plans, this place is a dream!" You were radiating with your passion for interior design and were smiling at the three demons in front of you.

"Well, (y/n), if you are that interested in seeing everything that went into designing RAD, then come to my palace with me today. I'm sure Barbatos wouldn't mind showing you everything we have on file. If you are also interested, we can even show you the plans for my palace as well." Diavolo seemed excited that I was interested in architecture and interior design

"I wouldn't mind heading home now and getting started on getting everything ready for you, (y/n). Well, if you agree." Barbatos gave you a small smile and bowed a little. You blushed and looked to Lucifer and put your hands together and began begging him to let you go to the palace.

"Lucifer, can I please go over to Lord Diavolo's palace? I promise I'll cover dinner duty for you for three months, please." You gave him your best puppy eyes and pout you could muster.

"(Y/n), it isn't necessary for you to beg for permission to go to Lord Diavolo's palace. You may go to Lord Diavolo's palace; I only ask that you call me before going home so that Mammon or I shall go get you and escort you home." He smiled and right when Diavolo, Barbatos, and you were about to make your way to the palace Lucifer called out to you.

"Oh and (y/n), it would be a great help for me if you could cover cooking duty for me for the next three months, I'll be busy with work." He smiled at you while waving goodbye to the three of you.

"Of course, Lucifer! You can always count on me!" You yelled back and ran to catch up to Lord Diavolo and Barbatos.

Upon catching up to them, you accidentally bumped into Barbatos, making him lose his footing and causing both of you to fall. You pushed yourself up and looked down at Barbatos, who had his arms wrapped around you to try and soften your fall. He was facing you when you bumped into him because Lord Diavolo asked him to wait for you while he went to the store to pick up a few things.

"Are you okay, my precious rose? It's good that I was here to help lessen your fall!" He was slightly blushing and moved one of his hands through your hair.

"Yes, Barbatos, I-I'm fine! Thank you for protecting me from scraping something." You were extremely flustered that he called you his precious rose; you began to think more about it. You were both looking into each other's eyes and hadn't heard Lucifer walk up and see the scene in front of him. He got angry and yelled,

"Barbatos, (y/n), what are you two doing?" he walked up to you two and helped pick you up, "Here, (y/n), let me assist you. Are you alright, you didn't hurt yourself, right?" He began inspecting you for any injuries, and you explained to him what had happened earlier.

"No, Lucifer, I'm not injured. If Barbatos hadn't caught me when I fell, then I definitely would have hurt myself. I was just about to get up too but, thank you for helping me, Luci!" You smiled at him innocently and hugged him before turning to Barbatos so the two of you could begin making your way to the palace.

"(Y/n), what have I told you about calling me, Luci, and hugging me?" He looked upset but had a slight blush on his face.

You turned around and smiled and waved at him. Barbatos held out his hand for you, and you took it. You two began making your way to the palace. You looked at him and still had the "my precious rose" moment stuck in your head and contemplated asking him about it. Barbatos could feel you staring at him and turned to look down at you and smiled before he let go of your hand and put it around your shoulder.
