"Y/n-ah you're nearly late again, having trouble waking up dear?" Your coworker, mrs. Lee asked.
"Maybe I've entered the bad luck season mrs. Lee, I kept on meeting inconsiderate people... what have i done to receive these bad lucks mrs. Lee?" you asked pouting sadly.
"Dear.. it's okay, don't think of it too much, what matters is that you're still here healthy and you likes your job. Strange things sure happened but that's what makes your life more enjoyable~" mrs. Lee beamed happily.
"How can I enjoy the things that made me feel dejected mrs. Lee?" you asked curious.
"What i mean is dear.. your life can't be beautiful if there's no ugliness, no success if there's no failure, no happiness if there's no sadness. Maybe you're out of luck today but maybe tomorrow you would hit the jackpot. What i want to say is that you have to be thankful at anything coming in your life so you can learn and live your life at its finest."
"Whoa mrs. Lee that's actually deep and I kind of feel bad to feel dejected now, but I can't help it! I think what Seonghwa said is true.."
"Was I too kind that people take advantages of it mrs. Lee? Should I be mean to others? Should I not help people in need? Should I-"
"You know it well dear, treat people the way you want to be treated. Everything will come back to you. Now you have your answer right?" Mrs. Lee asked smiling wide.
"The answer is that I need to be anti social so the others won't socialize with me then I can stop meeting weird people..." you said in a single breath.
"Yah that's not it dear you took in wrong-"
You laughed a bit making mrs. Lee look puzzled, "yeah I know the answer mrs. Lee, thank you for opening my mind, I think I've been always kind to others, I just hope that I can receive what I've done for others too" you give a sad smile looking at mrs. Lee's eyes.
"I'm sure you're gonna receive it soon dear, you're such an angel, your parents must be very proud of you" mrs. Lee said patting your back.
"One oxtail soup with rice!" A server said loudly from the kitchen counter.
"One oxtail soup with rice coming up!" You replied the server.
-later that day lunch time: 12 pm-
Employees started to queue to fill their food tray given by the server at the counter. You keep on asking whether they want extra kimchi and remind them that the sauced chicken is spicy in case they can't eat spicy food well.
"Woah it looks tasty!"
You just nod your head and smile at him, at Yunho.
"For your information the chicken is spicy"
"I like spicy food" you give him a scoop full of chicken.
"Do you want extra kimchi?"
"Yes please thank you" you give him two scoops.
"I'll eat it well Y/n-ah" you just put on a smile.
After he left, you keep your smile throughout the lunch time. Working at the canteen limit your friendship, the worker there are all middle-aged, and you're the youngest there. You don't have a real close friend, your close friend at school only come for your money and that was before your father passed.
At the age of 15, you're betrayed by your 'close friends,' that time of the year was the worst year ever of your life. Your mother was always by your side reminding you to be a strong girl so rather than crying over the tragedy and betrayal, you pull yourself together trying to distract the sadness in you by cooking in the kitchen. You always saw your mother cook ever since you can remember. Luckily you actually have skill in this area so you keep doing them as hobby. Your mother has worked very hard here and there, everywhere she can pinched out money to pay for your school fee and rent. At least she wanted her daughter to have a proper education although they're financially unstable.
3 years have passed with you and your mother working hard everyday. The works that your mother aren't used to do finally took a toll and make her catching symptoms and fell sick. That also made your dream fell apart. To be a chef that someday will open her own restaurant.
"Y/n-ah! What are you daydreaming about? I've called you several times"
"Ah sorry mrs. Lee, do you need me for something?" you look over to mrs. Lee with Yunho standing beside her.
"Yeah this handsome young man is looking for you"
"But it's still working hours I shouldn't-"
"Just go, you know well that there's little people who would come at this hour" you looked at the clock striking at 3.
You looked at Yunho for a while then walk your feet to him.
In the mid way you heard mrs. Lee said "oh maybe you're about to hit the jackpot today dear?" She said teasing you.
"Mrs. Lee! What if he heard you and misunderstood something?" You whispered dragging mrs. Lee a bit away from Yunho.
"Oh come on you're not supposed to make him wait any longer. Shoo!" Mrs. Lee push you towards Yunho that you almost bump into him.
⭐ you have been through a lot in your life. and now yunho comes to make everything better. that's what you hope, hope it doesn't hurt.
every cloud has a silver lining. no matter how bad a situation might seem, there is always has some good aspect to it. i have seen ateez mbti result and apparently the infp guys as well as my biases hongsan got this personality in them which is really touching and beautiful, that makes me respect them more and love ateez more >.< ⭐
