"You are Mr. Jeong Jiho and Mrs. Ha Yunsol's son right?" your mom asked.

"Yes I am" Yunho answered a bit taken a back that made his doubt may be enlighten now. 

"You know him eomma?" you asked curiously.

"Right, you deserved the truth sweetie, sorry to hide you from this" you are even more confused now.

You have always been a good student during your childhood, you like to volunteer for class president, you like to participate in school events, and also contests that makes you automatically the teacher's pet. You enrolled in one of the most prestigious school in your neighborhood. You didn't really know Yunho personally until the last year of elementary school where you both shared the same class. Yunho is another amazing student that always got first place throughout the grade. 

One day, your science teacher come and asked you, the class president to pair up your classmates for the upcoming full year science project until the national exams. As a good president you are, you asked the students to choose their own partners so the project can be done with more fun. You have another two best friends in your class and it seems they really want to partnered up together so you write down their names and every other pairs. That leaves you with no partner until you noticed that Jeong Yunho is not in the team list either.

"Jeong Yunho!" Yunho hear someone call for him and he turn his back now facing you.

You come up to him and said, "Hey, nice to meet you! Umm.. we're going to be science project partner, I see that you haven't partnered up with anybody so I hope you don't mind teaming up with me" you said awkwardly.

"Oh, okay then, I don't mind either, hope we can make a good pair" you smiled hearing him said that to relieve the awkward air between you.

Yunho just see a flash of memories of how both of you met and made a good friends with each other later on. Yunho was in denial when he encounters you at the subway a month ago as he see some resemblance between the both of you. He can finally be sure that you're indeed her, his first crush at school that he tried to forget for what he has done to her. He's under a huge relieve knowing that you're alive and well now although a lot of things may have changed since then.

Yunho's knees feel weak and before he let himself crash down the floor, you catch him in time. You looked at Yunho's expression and decide to bring him out the ward and to the hallway make him sit on the chairs next to the door.

"Yunho-ya, you okay?" you asked worriedly.

"Yeah, I'm okay, sorry I just can't believe that we can meet again after so many years. I haven't even apologize to you... I think I've lost you that day." Yunho said resisting the tears that threaten to fall off his eyes.

"Huh.. What do you mean you've lost me, and why do you have to apologize?" you asked unsure of what he has been saying.

"Ah... so you've lost your memory, I'm sorry Y/n... but it may be best if you hear from your mother. I don't think I can forgive myself after what I've caused. Yunho got up and before you can process anything, Yunho was already out of sight.

You come to your mom after letting Yunho leave the hospital,"Eomma, can you please tell me what happened? I'm really lost now and Yunho also run away from me, did he.. what happened between me and him eomma?" you asked warily not really sure if you're ready to know the truth. 

"You got into a car accident sweetie, when you were playing with him during your school break 10 years ago." You let the fact sink in before you tell your mom to continue.

"You're sent to the hospital and you're in coma for a week, the doctor also sentenced you for  having short-termed memory loss. Me and your father tried our best to keep you safe so we decided to move out from the neighborhood so you're not reminded of the traumatic event. During the time at the hospital, Yunho may have leave the city too which I don't know the reason why, but it seems that you also forget about him at all. So I think this is bounded to happen then I didn't bring up his name ever again, worried that you might remember and hate him or being paranoid caused by traumatic reaction that may occur to you."

"I remembered when the both of you playing together at the backyard after finishing some work for your science project. You didn't even let Yunho go home when his driver arrived to fetch him. You both really liked playing video games that sometimes I scold you both to stop playing and go to sleep when he come for a sleepover." your mom added smiling while you had your head down.

"Eomma.. I don't seem to recall any of these memories, have I erased all the memory of him?" you wondered looking up the ceiling above.

"Sweetie, come here.. It doesn't matter whether you remembered or not, now that both of you have met again, you can start anew. Make sure to keep him, he's a good person, and I'm sure you're also good for him." your mom said embracing you.

⭐ yunho is your childhood best friend! it's a pity that you don't remember him at all now, but does it matter? and you're his first crush, cute :D are the feelings mutual now?
