Both of you walked to the park near ChoiGO cafe. You sit on the bench viewing the playground filled with little kids playing around joyfully. Yunho approached you with two cans of cold drink in his hand he bought from the convenient store.

"Ah.. Where should I start now.." he said looking up the cloudy sky
You just sip your drink quietly preparing yourself for what you're about to hear. You admit that it's kinda awkward now between the two of you and you hate that. You want to clear things up with him as quick as possible.
"I've been a very good son every parents would ask for, I excel my studies, trained for martial arts, learned music and dance, joined numerous competition, I do everything my parents wanted me to do.." he paused. "I think I'm finally fed up with all of that. Sure I live such a luxurious life, but I can't really be happy with it." he sipped his drink.
You listen to him intently. He told you how he's very thankful to the guys who have always been there for him. He met them from one of every non-academic activity his mother wanted him to attend. First he met San at the taekwondo class during middle school. Then he met Mingi at the dance academy during high school. He met Jongho at the street when he's busking performing a song cover. He met Yeosang and Wooyoung at the modern dance class during college.
They have made today's Yunho the mature, dependable, and fun guy. They've been anything he would wish for a friend. He didn't receive the love from his parents enough so his friends are the one he seeks for comfort. Fortunately for him, his parents have eventually liberate his circle of friends. Before they just want him to associate with other promising kid as within the same social status as his, but they guess he knew very well how to choose a 'friend' and didn't bother him with that matter anymore.
About his absence for the whole week, it's because of the agreement between his father and him. He actually really want to start at the company just like other people going on their first work with fitting position in the company organization system. He had asked his father for it which is turned down right away. But he proposed that he's been doing anything he had ask him, so now he want to do things on his own. At least let him work from the bottom so he could actually learn to achieve for appreciation, not just learning his father desk job although that will also be very tough.
But his father suddenly made the decision to retire so Yunho must know how to handle the company sooner than he has planned. He's a bit furious knowing that he can only submit to his father again and again. Yunho has come up with much excuses but he can't change his father's decision anyhow. His father has told him that it's his final request for him. He promised that he would never ask for more from him when he can take over the company well by himself. He need to see his company working stably and keep going for long so their family future is assured. He can't trust nobody else other than his only son of course.
With that being said, Yunho really want to believe his father's words. If it's really for the last time his life being controlled by him, he has no other option but to comply. In order to satisfied his father's wish, he's given a month to learn what he's gonna work on, meet the other head divisions, attend big meeting, get to know the office and field workers, managing business partnership, and many more. That's why he got so busy the whole week and couldn't meet you nor keep you in contact. It's his habit to focus solely on a job he's given or he'll be burdened by it, especially if there's a time limit.
If he didn't get his father's approval after a month, he will need to keep on training which means a lot more time will be spent on his works alone and he might not see you for a longer time. He's been doing his best with a strong determination to finally get off his father's grip. If becoming the head director will release him from the invisible chain around his neck, he will do it no matter what, and better be quick before he lose the will.
He has given his all on the first week in hope that he get to do the tasks according his plan which will be in favor for him. He has prepared the materials and data for the next meeting, done a lot of research about target market and strategies, reviewing the other company's tactics so it will be a guaranteed success, and many else.
You feel pity for him but also touched at his reliability, and the fact that he wanted this to be over soon so he can spend some time with you too. You're now really supportive and understanding his situation more so you asked him to hang in there reminding him that this too shall pass.
⭐ finally you heard from him, you feel relieved. he really mean with what he said, he's going to make things work between you and him, you felt so happy but you still has a thought at the back of your head.
