It's closing time soon and you are cleaning some tables, apparently the last customers. You bring back some plates, bowls, and utensils to the kitchen to be washed when Seonghwa come to help with the dishes.

"You seemed in a bad mood today.."

"Yeah I was, sorry if that's bothering you but I promise it's nothing to worry ab-"

"Y/n-ah.. I.. I don't really understand you now.."

You keep on washing the dishes, your mind is indeed too distracted to care about anything else. You want to hurry home in hope to forget the occurrence with some sleep.

"Hey.. talk to me, I  could probably help with the situation, or if you want I could also be a good listener.." he sounds emphatic but you can only heave a sigh.

"Hwa.. I don't really wanna bother you with my problem cause I know you care too much, and it's just some petty feeling surging in me, I know you gonna scold me with it. I just want to relieve it by myself, I need to learn.."

"Are you sure you can handle it by yourself though? I mean yes you're a strong person but it doesn't ensure you to have the capability to solve everything by your own."

Silence took place for awhile before you realize you can't keep it from him anyway. You tell him about the rude man who happened to be Yunho's uncle and what happened back in the company. After you told him, you begin to pity yourself too for letting those words get to you. You're glad that letting it out actually makes you a bit light-hearted.

"Thinking about it now, how silly of me" a sarcastic chuckle escaped your mouth. Seonghwa looking at you intently this whole time. You finally looked up from the sink after finishing  the dishes. You find Seonghwa seems to think of something. 

"Shouldn't you just leave there? I think if you're still around him like this, there will be more to come at you."

"I don't think it's gonna be that serious hwa, you know I needed the job, I-"

"Then would it be better if you call it off with him?" you're surprised by what he said. Did he asked you to really cut ties with Yunho or just pretend to keep you from the judgement by the people around him.

"You've been hurt for so much Y/n, for how long more will you get hurt to realize that he's not the one for you-" you heard your heart break slightly. Seonghwa may have crossed the line there and he register what he has said too late. He checks for your face to find a bitter expression, he regrets for cutting you abruptly and hurting you in any way.

"I, I'm sorry Y/n I didn't mean to.." Seonghwa may have went off after knowing that you got in this situation because of Yunho. He's ready to give up, even support you after you tell him about Yunho and how you're really fond of him. But he can't take it anymore if he keeps hurting you even if it's not his intention. Seonghwa believes that you deserve more than being disrespected by people who didn't really know you personally.

You turned away from the sink and leave for the staff room but you feel his hand pulling your arm. You crashed into his chest but you push him away with your weak hands to get only a step back from him. Both of you didn't utter a single word so you took the chance to leave. You heard him calling for you but you didn't want to face him anymore as of now.

You've been so glad to have Seonghwa as a friend, never a single time he would make you feel like shit, it's the opposite as a matter of fact. He's been always supportive for you, he would cheer you up by making corny jokes, he never judge you even from the first time he saw you looking like a lost kid in front of the restaurant months ago asking if the shop still needs a helper. He's a very kind human being, handsome also, and his great personality make him a perfect man every girls needed in their life. You always think so highly of him, you respect him, and you're comfortable enough to figure him as a really caring brother you never had.

You're trying your best to follow your heart, but if it's not gonna work, you are ready to leave this feelings behind before your heart shattered in pieces that can't be fixed anymore. Did your doubt finally come true? You were right the whole time but people around you just impose their opinion that encouraged you to a change of heart. If you know you're right about where you and him would end up since the beginning, you should have just ignore him and call it off, he's the one who is not honest moreover. The accident might have warned you but your foolish self didn't want to assume.

⭐ what seonghwa said may have took an impact on you rather excessive. or you're just overreacting? either way you come back to your state of confusion. if you've really had enough, you might just obliterate everything, but that's gonna be too hard for you to handle as you've fallen too deep for him. deep down you're afraid the truth won't be in your favor, you also think what seonghwa said is also very plausible.

seonghwa just can't handle it anymore, but he seemed to have pressed the wrong button, what will he do next? what will you do? ⭐
