"Uh um hi? Are you here for another errand Yunho-ssi?"
"Ah no I've just met someone discussing about work and i was thinking of you" he said timidly. You open your eyes wide.
"I mean about last night, I thought maybe I was going overboard and it makes you uncomfortable, I sincerely apologize."
"You're forgiven, is there anything else you wanna tell me?"
"Can we be friends?" He said expectantly with his big hands clasped in front of his chest like begging for something.
"I'm sure that i am not a weirdo or some creep or sorts although i may be too excited at times but my friends told me that I'm fun!" He added smiling ear to ear.
"Oh sure why not?" You said a bit doubting yourself.
After both of you exchange contacts, you continue with your work that day. You do your job diligently throughout the week. You didn't really have conversation with Yunho as he got busier with his tasks, just a simple greeting whenever you guys crossed path.
You noticed an incoming text and you get your phone off your pocket to see that Yunho has sent a message.
'Y/n-ah we might meet up tonight!
At your restaurant, i need to meet a client'
'Oh okay, see you and i hope you
don't try to talk to me again'
'Got it kekeke!'
You don't know why but you feel like opening up to him. That's weird because you're too used to being alone all this time that you don't need a friend especially a male friend. But you see some genuineness radiating from him and kinda pulled you to him. Maybe because of his smiley face, high tone voice, friendly demeanor, and playfulness you lack off that draws you to him. Maybe it's time to have someone you can trust and share your stories with other than your mom.
--later that day at the restaurant: 7 pm--
You are actually waiting for him to step into the restaurant, you unusually looking at the entrance every once a while. You got excited you don't really understand why. You just barely known each other for nearly a week but you have been feeling so much attached to him. He makes you feel at ease.
After some minutes, here they come and you actually noticed the shorter guy beside Yunho. It's that rude Kim Hongjoong guy from several mornings ago. Keeping yourself professional, you go to their table and ask their order while displaying your usual smile.
After taking their order, you inform the cook and send a dish to a customer. When you're going back to the counter, a man raised his hand and you come over him.
"Do you need anything else, sir?" you asked him
"Yah, don't you know that I'm a regular here?! Why are you giving me this?!" He said yelling and pushed the bowl of noodle in front of him.
"Oh I'm sorry sir I must have forgotten to add the notes of your order" you said bowing 90 degrees to him.
"I will bring the right one please wait a minute" you're about to go but the man slide his hand across the table making the bowl fly over to your leg making the noodle stained all over your pants.
"I don't have my appetite now I'll just leave!" he was standing and about to go for the door when a hand stops him.
The man eyed the person who stopped him with a glare "get your dirty hand out of my face man you're blocking my way"
"You better apologize to her sir"
"Hah! What are you talking about? she's making a mistake and got me irritated, she's the wrong one here why should i apologize?
"You didn't have to throw your food towards her like that even if she's wrong you know?!"
"Tch. She deserved that for getting me the wrong food although I've ordered the same dish whenever i come here!"
"Yunho it's okay, he's right I was the one at fault so please get back to your seat, your food has arrived" without waiting his reply you quickly utter an apology to the man and he went out of the door.
You clean up the rest of the mess the man had left and went to the restroom to clean your pants.
You see both Yunho and Hongjoong have finished their meal and proceed to take the dishes back.
"Excuse me, do I know you? Like have we meet somewhere?
"I don't get what you're saying sir?" You lied
"I'm sure I have seen you somewhere though?"
You left with some plates and bowls to the back ignoring the rude man while Yunho looking at you worriedly.
⭐ today wasn't really your day huh? but what can you do? you just follow the flow. avoiding trouble is what you're always good at. but that doesn't mean you can't stand for yourself. you're big enough to sort matters quickly with responsibility too.
okay i just want to say shit happens in life but you have to be wise enough for everything you'll do. and here hohong ready to support whatever decision you take in your life :D ⭐
