You spent last night talking with Seonghwa, he needs someone to listen to him and you gladly be there for him. You hope he'll find the right one soon, you want him to be happy so he don't need to come to you after being hurt or disappointed.

"Do you have to work the whole day next Sunday too?"

"Hmm I guess so, why do you asked me that eomma?"

"Sweetie don't you remember your own birthday?" your eyes go wide.

"Oh right, it's next Sunday woah I really forget about it!"

"Then could you ask your boss to let you off early? I felt bad that I missed your birthday last year sweetie, let's celebrate it this year" she said hopefully.

"Eomma, you know that I've just started, how can I ask the boss for early leave, I need to earn their trust.."

"Y/n-ah just tell him that you got family matter to attend, I guess he will give you the permission"

"Eomma~ Since when did you teach how to lie? I can't do that.. I'll got caught right away with my stuttering and stuff.." you pouted.

"Well you should try it though, pull your puppy eyes and sweet tone while asking him, I bet he will let you off the hook!"

"Eomma that's not it-"

"Just do what I say, go.. you should go now or you'll be late!" your mom pushed you to the door when you even haven't finish your sentence.

Sunday is a very busy day for the restaurant, you cook non-stop even when your lunch break has come. It's been an hour since your lunch break was over but you still filling up the orders never leaving the kitchen. You are preparing for a dish when the head chef set himself beside you, "You didn't have your lunch yet?"

"Oh chef, I've been filling up orders, seems a lot more customer came today so yeah.." you said while stirring the ingredients inside a bowl.

"What a hard working kid huh, go eat now, I'll take over"

"Ah no it's okay chef, I will get this one done firs-"

"Go.. If you caught an ulcer then it will be troublesome not only for you but us too. Understood?" you stopped what you're doing and you thought that he's right.

"Then I'll have my lunch now chef, I'll be back shortly!" you dashed off.

"Yah you can take your time Y/n-ah!" he shouted as you're quite far already.

"Thank you chef!" you shouted back.

Seonghwa said that he will visit today so you've been peeking through the wall opening to see if he's here already. You're scanning the crowded dining area but you find him at the door, he has just arrived with Hongjoong, Yeosang, and Jongho.

You waved slightly to their direction, luckily Jongho caught you and inform the others to do the same gesture. You can't go out to meet them so you're just gonna give some extra for their orders, you hope the head chef won't notice it. 

"Yah another tough day.." you said while stretching your arms and your neck. You nearly missed your dinner break if the other chef didn't remind you. You got a bit excited because you want to hear from them about your dishes, fortunately they don't have any important thing to do so they're waiting for you at the nearby 24-hour coffee shop.

--at the cafe: 10.15 pm--

"I think we should do it on Friday so it will be finished before Sunday"

"Right, in case it's not gonna finish in a day.."

You heard them discussing about something but you just brush it off. "Hey guys!"

"Oh you're here! Did you ran here, that's quick!" Hongjoong said a bit taken aback.

"Uh.. yeah I actually did haha I don't want you guys to wait for long.. So how was it?!" you asked excitedly.

They can't stop praising you for the delicious dishes but moreover for the extra serving you gave them. Well who could resist free extra good food. Being praised a lot just made you feel embarrassed, you convinced yourself that they are just treating you like this because of the friendship but they scolded you for that. They truly enjoy your cooking and would like to visit again with the squad, yeah they called themselves 8tiny because there are eight of them and they agreed that they're destined to meet and be the bestest friends for each other. 

Today was tiring as always but you started to enjoy yourself. You got the hang of it but you still hope that the head chef will put you into shifts because the fatigue is coming for you as you really felt like passing out after you arrived home.

You're laying on your bed watching some videos on your phone because you aren't that sleepy yet. After some more foodie program videos, you get bored and you wonder if it's okay to text Yunho, he seemed busy today as there's no text from him. Maybe it's your turn to text him first.

It doesn't look like he would reply to you anytime soon as your eyes are getting heavier, you just wish he would say that he's doing fine. You still got worried over him even though he told you to stop. You admit that you miss him, it's only been two days since you last saw him. You miss his comforting hug, his little chuckle, his wise words, and his everything. Even if it's only a dream, you wish that at least you could meet him there.

⭐ you've fallen deeper for him that you can't contain your feelings anymore, you hope that you and him could be more than best friend already.
