It's time to go home now, today was a long day and you can't wait to be home. You're walking your way when you hear some footsteps following you. You don't dare to see who's behind you but you sped up your pace.

"Hey Y/n wait it's me!"

You stopped your tracks hearing his voice. You turned your back and Yunho came to your view.

"Yunho?! Didn't you head out an hour ago? What are you doing here?"

"Since we're friends now, maybe I can walk you home?" He said smiling sheepishly

"Yunho it's late you bett-"

"I wanna catch up with you!...if you don't mind."

You smile after hearing that "okay if you insist"

You walked together while sharing some stories of the past week.

"So he's that rude huh?! Man i was tricked then! Or maybe he's just a hardworking person!"

"Yah and you defend him like that? What a bad friend!"

You guys were talking about Hongjoong and laughing happily that you didn't noticed you are already in front of your house.

"I hope that jerk will never come again"

"Hmm I don't mind though, we need customer anyway"

"Y/n-ah what if the cook made the same mistake again and you got the blame of it again?"

"Then I have to be more careful before sending out the order"

"Look Y/n-ah, I know you're a hardworker, a strong girl and all but you can't always blame yourself. Although you thought yourself that you're fine, sometimes it's fine to not be fine." He looked at you intently.

You feel your heart warmed up by what he said. You got tears in your eyes but you smile at him at the same time.

"Yeah I know but it's harder to show my true emotions, if I do, I become weak and I don't like that Yunho..."

"It's humane to show emotions, you shouldn't bottle it up in your chest, if you wanna cry just cry, if you are angry you can cursed out, if you are happy you gotta enjoy yourself not minding anything else. Live your life the way you are, not the way you want to be."

You unconsciously walk closer to him and hug him resting your head on his chest.

"Thank you... thank you for your kind words Yunho, I think I really need that."

You pulled away from the hug without noticing his warmed up face because of the poor lighting. You put up your ever big smile and said "thank you for being my friend, i really appreciate it, i hope we can stay friends for long"

"I'm okay to be more than friends" Yunho mumbled under his breath making sure you can't hear him.

"Ah sorry to drag things out, you must go home now. Text me if you've arrived home safely okay?"

You said while opening your gate, you turned and wave your hand at him as he did the same with smile plastered on both of your face.

-the next day: saturday 1 pm-

You take your mom's arm and lead her to the front door.

"Are you feeling better eomma? Does your leg still hurt a lot?" You asked her concerned.

"Just a bit, I'm okay sweetie lets go now"

"I've called taxi, it'll arrive shortly"

"Sweetie, I'm sure I'm fine. Lets just go to the bus stop"

"Eomma look, you've been complaining a lot about your pain, and I see you are getting weaker day by day, the least I could do for you is making sure that you don't get too tired or it'll worsen your condition! I'm afraid... I'm afraid if you'll leave me too just like everybody else..." you said holding back your tears.

"Sweetie, look at me, I'm not gonna leave you okay? You're so precious to me and I won't want to let you down. I will always be with you until you marry a good man, having your children, and live happily with your own family. Until then, I'll give my best to support you. I'll be healthy soon and we can spend some quality time we won't ever forget!" Your mom said cupping your tears stained face.

Just then you both heard a honk and a taxi stop beside you so you help your mom get into the car heading to the clinic for your mom's therapy session. 

Saturday is your only day off for you to spend it with your mom. You usually just talk about anything to her. The day passed too quickly for your liking but at least your day went well.
