"Hello?" you heard his raspy voice.

"Oh Yunho-ya are you asleep already?"

"Uh I've just wake up, I took a nap.." 

"Hmm then what are you going to do now?"

"Maybe eat, my stomach has just grumbled" he laughed.

"I see, do you have a minute? I want to tell you something.." he hummed.

"Tell me~"

"I'm no longer working at the canteen and hwa's restaurant anymore"

"Really? Why?" you heard him and some noises that maybe coming from his kitchen.

"I will work at Mr. Baek Jong Won's restaurant in four days!"

"Wow isn't he the most famous chef in Korea?! Yah unbelievable!"

"Ya did you just mock me?" you sulked

"No I mean you're that great! Congrats Y/n-ah!" even you can't see his face, you can imagine his joyful facial expression clearly.

"Yeah I'm so blessed, I guess I'm not that unlucky anymore hahah. And I was thinking that this was the best choice I have made, we don't need to pretend no more and this may help me to achieve my dream."

"Good for you Y/n, I hope all the best for you. Is mr. Baek strict or maybe scary? Should I visit on your first day there? Maybe we should celebrate this with the guys? Or-"

"Yunho-ya stop it. Mr. Baek is being nice although I admit that he's strict but not into scary. And I think it's better for you and the guys to not visit yet because I still need to adapt and be familiar with the works so yeah, you guys may come if I'm confident enough."

"You and your modesty-" you hear a clank from the other line

"Yunho? Are you okay there?"

"Geez I just knocked off the pan into the sink, don't worry haha!"

"Yah please be careful, you don't want to burn your house down don't you?" you add your savage comeback to cover your worry.

"Yah I'm not that bad okay? I've cooked a lot even though the food was sometimes tasteless.."

"Should I teach you then?"

"Ah that'd be a nuisance.. How about you cook for me every time?" 

"Are you kidding me! I'm not your maid.. But if I can, I will always prepare them for you"

"Hahah just kidding Y/n, or unless.."

"It can't be helped as of now Yunho-ya, sorry.."

He giggled and turned down your sorry. "Ah right you should go eat, I'm hanging up now, bye~"

The next day, you went to mr. Baek's for kitchen training. He taught you all the preparations as they needed to make the dish with fresh ingredients everyday. You note down everything the head chef and mr. Baek told you which made them satisfied with your passion in your profession. For today, you mostly just watch them making the dish, learn all the menus, and try to make a simple dish for them to try. You got some feedback and you also pour your own opinion that quite impress them.

You're physically and mentally tired although you're only there for six hours. You learned a lot and you're also amazed by how you adapt pretty quick there. You know it's gonna be exhausting, so much customer with so much more order, it's coming one after another without pause. You pressed your lips into a thin line to avoid yourself from complaining or even heave a sigh. You gotta make sure that your burning passion is stronger than the exhaustion that took over yourself gradually.

You get off at 4 pm and continue your way to hwa's restaurant. You still feel bad for leaving abruptly so you decided to help there when you still have the time before working at mr. Baek's full time. When you arrive, you still see the employment notice which make you feel unsettled. You're greeted just like a customer until Seonghwa noticed that it's actually you. 

"Oh Y/n why are you here? Are you kicked out already?" he said concerned. You don't know if he's joking or he really didn't know if you will only start to work there in the coming three days.

"Uh.. I'm here to help.. And no I'm not kicked out already Seonghwa-ya, I'll start in three days ahead" you said with calm tone.

"Is that so.. then go prepare the ingredients!" he smiled at you and you just shook your head lightly heading towards the kitchen.

You're in the dining area looking out for the customers when you see a girl outside looking at the paper on the glass wall. /Is she looking for a job?/ When you believe there's no customer that needed to be tended, you go for the door to talk to the girl.

"Hi there? Are you looking for a job?" you greet her with a welcoming smile.

"Ah yes.. Is the position taken yet?" she asked timidly.

"No not yet, would you like to come in? I'll inform the boss, I think we need an employee fast so if you're sure to do the job-"

"Yeah I'm good with being an employee here." you're quite surprised by her bold reply. You then invite her inside and lead her to the staff room. You told her to seat on the chair while you inform Seonghwa's father about her. 

⭐ you're glad that yunho trust you sincerely, now you just hope to do well in your new work environment that's surely harder and harsher than your previous jobs.

ideas come time to time and i can't let it pass so this book will have more chapters than i had intended when i first came up with the storyline.. ahhh ⭐
