You lay down on your bed after applying some pain relief patches around your body. You're sure if you don't apply them, you would have a hard time waking up tomorrow. You still need to come early and prepare everything until the head chef approved your capability, he need to test your mentality too because as a matter of fact, being a chef is far from easy.

You then unlock your phone to see missed calls from your mom, you must have not heard it. There's also a message from Yunho.

Hey! Are you doing well?

Sorry I can't walk you home today, I got a lot to do..

You see, my plan seems to go accordingly well, I might proved my father before the  month ends

The faster the better hahah!!

You home yet?

Well I hope you're doing great today and fight for tomorrow too, you can do this Y/n!

Just reading his text, your heart slowly warmed up. You inhale deeply and let it out "Hoping the best for the both of us..I love you" 

--at mr. Baek's--

You nearly messed up the orders if not for mr. Baek looking out for you. You got stressed out as the orders keep on coming, customers asking for extras and your mind got lost for a moment. You mixed up the orders and the waiter was asking you if it was right when you're not sure yourself. Looking at your current state, mr. Baek decided to take over for you until you're calmed down. Fridays are always like that so mr. Baek is usually at the restaurant too.

You are about to tell mr. Baek that you're fine now but he told you to just watch him handling the incoming orders that has no end to it. He taught you how to handle the seems out-of-hand orders, he shares some tips and you diligently took notes in case you missed a single word. 

"Sorry mr. Baek, that was so shameful of me to broke down like that, I promise I won't let you down again.." you bow your back down to the furthest you could, even more than ninety degrees.

"It's alright Y/n, it's your first time anyway, you know how weekend goes" you still have your head lower down.

"Yah I said it's okay, you've done well today too, now go home and take a rest, you need to prepare for tomorrow" he walked away after giving you a pat on your shoulder.

"Yes mr. Baek I'll be better tomorrow!" you bowed your head towards his direction.

The other workers are aware of what happened to you so they asked you to head home already instead of helping them with some cleaning. You bid them goodbye and head to the door when you see a smiling Yunho outside. Just at the time that you needed someone the most.

He approached you with that sweet smile of his "Y/n-ya you looked horrible even with that smile"

"What! Yah are you here just to annoy me?" you tried to be mad but it comes out weaker than you intend to. You're really done for the day.

"Hey don't be mad~ I'm here for you, you should be glad"

"I messed up today Yunho.. What if I got cut tomorrow.."

"Yah don't say that, it's been only two days, you got more days to impress mr. Baek, it will all be fine~" he said while hanging his arm around your shoulder pulling you close to him.

"Hmm I hope so.." Then you both walk in silence until you broke it.

"Ah I forgot to reply your text yesterday I'm sorry.."

"That's fine although you leave me worried sick the whole day.. Lucky that I can visit you after work"

"Are you doing well yourself?"

"Yeah, I'm sure these hard work will be worth it. But now I'm worried for you.." he removes his hand from your shoulder to stroke the side of your head gently.

"I'll get used to it, don't worry about me~" you try to sound as convincing as you could.

"Hmm you better be or I won't be able to sleep peacefully every night thinking about your well being"

"Psh.. That's ridiculous Yunho-ya, I know myself better so you don't have to waste your precious sleep for me."

"Because you know yourself better that makes me even more worried, I know you will always ready to cross your limit if it's needed especially to prove others your worth. You know you can just back off right? It's also important to embrace your weakness. It's there to remind you that nobody can be perfect. Just do what you're capable of, don't be a try-hard because it'll just hurt you in the end."

You found yourself speechless, what he said was all true. But you can't understand why he came up with the word try-hard, you consider yourself as passionate..or was it not? Your clouded mind couldn't register what was happening until you got yanked by Yunho out of a sudden.

"Yah it's a red light what are you thinking about?"

"Ah sorry I didn't notice.."

"Y/n-ah are you okay? Did my words offend you? I don't mean it like that-"

"We should get going" you said walking ahead after the light turned green.

"Y/n-ah.."

⭐ two days of work and you face that stressful moment, you should've known better, but thankfully mr. baek got your back. working here got you more busy than doing double job at a time, it surely will affect you from then on.

you're being sensitive and that's reasonable, let's see how yunho would tend to your emotional wreck. ⭐
