"Ah why I'm being late for everything today? Such a bad day, i hope i won't be late again." You said to yourself.
You reached the chinese restaurant 5 minutes away from your shift and heave a sigh of relieve.
"You're late today, it's odd? Something matter? Seonghwa said.
"Sorry boss i can't get here early because i face some trouble at the canteen" you said looking guilty.
"Hmm it's okay you're not late for your shift anyway but almost or i'll cut an hour from your pay!" he said joking.
"I promise this won't happen again" you said bowing your head.
Seonghwa is the youngest son of your boss, he is nice, he is friendly, but being a grown up girl you sure is taking things maybe too seriously.
Living with only your sick mom makes you the most responsible person. You don't want to disappoint others, you're a girl of your words, you might do anything beyond your ability just to be knowledged by others and don't want people to point you as a poor girl striving to live with her dying mother. You are strong minded and a very mature one learning it from your late father. Just to see your mother little smile after a long day is just enough strength to keep you going on with life.
You usually help to clean tables and prepare for ingredients in the kitchen with Seonghwa as both likes to do anything related to food while waiting for her shift at 5 pm. If there are some ingredients left, your boss will give it to you so you can save some pay for your mother's medication which really helps with your situation.
--later that day: 8 pm--
After finishing some washing in the kitchen, you took your rubber gloves and apron off taking the notepad going to the new customers who has just arrived.
"Oh y/n-ssi! You worked here too?"
