Hearing you from the other line make Yunho smile ear to ear, he finds it really cute at your way of worrying him. He could hear you for all day and won't get bored but feel energized instead.

"Hey do you hear me?"

"Oh yeah, I'm doing fine Y/n! Thanks for thinking about me~"

"Then why are you not picking up?"

"I put my phone on silent when I'm working on something to stay focus.. Sorry"

"No don't be, I understand, I'm the one who should be sorry for bothering you then.."

You heard him giggle, "I should be thanking you though, I'm in a mess right now. But you can distract me for a bit before I go nuts!"

"Haha should I keep you company so you didn't really go crazy?"

"That would be nice but I don't think I can do my work properly-"

"Then stay with me until I sleep, you need to report to me whatever you do too, I need to keep you sane" you chuckle at the end.

"Hah what are you? My mom? Even my mom doesn't really care.." he sneered.

"I'm.... your future girlfriend!" you don't really know what comes into you but you finally feel assured by what everybody has said to you, you are following your heart too, you hope it's for the best.

His heart skipped a beat after your comeback. "Is that how you flirt? That's lame!" he laughed out loud to cover his embarrassment.

"Whatever, I'll call you back when I'm ready for sleep, make sure you pick your phone up after the first ring okay! Bye! Fighting!!!" you cheered him smiling brightly even he can't see you.

You called him twenty minutes later already tucked in your bed with your phone on the nightstand setting it on loudspeaker. He actually picked up after the first ring which make you really pleased because you doubt him yourself. "Ready for a good sleep? Should I serenade you to sleep?"

"I mean if it doesn't trouble you, why not?" you teased him

"No Y/n, I can't sing~"

"I know you can~ You even idolize Jung Yunho from TVXQ.. Let me hear you sing~"

"Wait how- what- ah did the guys told you about that?"

"So would you let me hear you sing?"

"It's been long, I..I'm not-" he heard your laugh.

"Yunho-ya I'm just joking, you must be flustered now.. But what I want to say is that it's okay to do the things you love, better show off your passion than let it go to waste" you didn't hear him for a moment.

"Thanks Y/n-ah, maybe I'll show you my honey voice someday"

"Sure I'll wait for that too~ Now, I'll shut up and you can work comfortably"

"Okay ma'am~"

You only heard his keyboard and mouse clicking every now and then, it's so calming that you finally can catch a sleep. You're closing your eyes when he called for you. "Y/n-ah? You still there?" You wanted to reply but he beats you to it.

"I guess you're asleep.. Then I'll sing for you so you'll have a nice dream~" he started to sing, you keep your eyes closed listening to his soothing voice. You heard him singing a verse before you drifted to dreamland.

In there we shine~

"Goodnight Y/n.. Sweet dream" he hanged up with smile plastered his tired face. 

--next day at the canteen: 2 pm--

Just like last week, you didn't see Yunho at all. Maybe he has meetings outside the company again. You stare into the air when mrs. Lee cut your inner thoughts.

"Have you heard dear? It really is Yunho! He's the director's son!"

"Oh I actually found out two days ago mrs. Lee.."

"Really? Well then it's great for you~"

"Ah I'm not sure about that, I still have my doubts but I choose to ignore them as for now"

"Well you must treat him good, who knows you'll end up together and lead this company in the future, or should I say soon~" she seemed to be more excited than you.

"Nobody knows what will happen in the future mrs. Lee, and I know I must not have high hope for anything" you said bringing down her excitement.

"Again with your modesty.. I'm just gonna pray for the best to the both of you, and don't forget me when you're up there" she points the ceiling with the meaning of you working at the better place up in the building. 

"No, why would I forget you mrs. Lee if I keep on working here? It's not like I can do anything up there either.." you said clinging your hands on her shoulder.

"Then you better stay here for long so I'm not lonely here dear!" she smiled a bit showing her slight wrinkles. You just chuckled at that. You stop when you see Yunho entering the canteen with a man. The man looks much older than him but definitely not his father. You just shrug it off and Yunho comes to the counter.

"Can I have two bowls of beef soup with rice?" you heard him said before the cashier told you to prepare them. You immediately prepares his order and bring it to their table. You see Yunho put on his smile at the sight of you but you lower down your head focusing on the food on the cart you're pushing.

 ⭐ you're getting more comfortable than ever with each other, but unfortunately you must  keep it from the company, that's what you thought will be the best for him

it's only a matter of time, for you, for him, for the company. will it turn out good?  ⭐
