It's been a few days without seeing him, maybe he's too busy or did he avoid you? You keep thinking about him. After the visit, he went back immediately to the cafe saying they need some hands. You didn't even have the chance to talk over your part-time work there, you actually plan to keep on working there, or just help them if they haven't employ new waiter. 

You didn't bother to contact him knowing you would meet at work but you haven't seen him since last Sunday. Then you decide to text him asking his whereabouts, not that you're worried, you just find it strange that he was like missing suddenly.

It's been exactly 7 hours after the text been delivered but you haven't receive any reply from him. You grew worried until you dialed his number waiting him to pick up. Unfortunately the other line didn't pick up. You just sigh loud enough for Seonghwa to hear.

"What's with the long face Y/n?" he asked while drying his hands off.

"Oh-um-it's nothing.. I mean I haven't seen him since four days ago." you replied without specifying who.

"Who? Yunho?" He didn't tell you?"

"Tell me? What?"

"He said that he's gonna be busy for some days and said sorry if he won't be active in the group chat for a while."

"Oh really? He didn't specify what's his business are?"

"Nope"

"Uhh.. but he's doing well right?"

"Hmm I guess? Y/n you seem worried?"

"No, I'm not.. It's just strange that he suddenly went missing, I didn't see him in the company"

"Ayy you're just missing him right?" he said nudging your arm.

"Hwa... I think he avoids me.." you said ignoring his teasing.

"Why would he avoid you Y/n?" he said folding his arms in front of his chest.

You tell him what has happened that night, the 'drunk' confession from Yunho. Seonghwa's face dropped a bit without you noticing. You even told him everything until the morning.

"Did he got embarrassed so he avoids me?" you asked unsure.

"I think you're just overthinking Y/n~ As you said, he's drunk, he might not even remember what he has tell you the night before. He's just too busy now"

"But even though he's busy he should've pick up calls, what if it's an emergency.."

"Y/n-ya, he must have his own reason, stop worrying about him, he's a grown adult" he said placing both of his palms on your shoulder searching your eyes for assurance. 

You turned away and continue to put the utensils on their place picking up your pace as you gotta go home to see your mom. She got discharged yesterday with a lot better condition but doesn't stop you from being worried still. You wanted to convince yourself too that what Seonghwa said might be right, you're just overthinking.

"Y/n! I'm planning to visit your mother, is that okay?"

"Oh? When?"

"Now?"

"It's late hwa, she might have been asleep" 

"I see.. Then see you tomorrow"

"Yeah bye, go home safely hwa!"

"Y/n wait!"

You turned back to him with flat expression on your face "Yeah?"

"I want to walk you home, you seems to need me to talk to" he giggled a bit.

You both walked in silence side by side. "What about you Y/n?" he asked.

"Hmm what about me?"

"With Yunho, I mean"

You froze for a split second "We're friends"

"Yah you can tell me the truth okay, I won't judge you for liking your own friend, I know it's inevitable"

"I don't know hwa, I'm not experienced with this thing.."

"Ahaha right! I forgot that you've been single all the years you lived!" he teased

"Yah so what about it, I'm not interested anyway"

"I'm saying this from my perspective okay.. You truly like someone if you think about them a lot, you got worried over anything regarding them, you're ready to risk your all to help them without expecting anything in return, you want to see them happy if it means to sacrifice yourself, and you want to be always there for them."

Little did you know, Seonghwa is actually telling his experience with you. You nod at his words "But then isn't that what friends feel too?"

"I'm being serious here Y/n I mean.. Ugh.. Well if you want to be with him just tell him, he's a good man I can tell." he said throwing his hands in the air.

You chuckled at that "You know he's out of reach, maybe that's how we gonna end up" you look down with pressed smile.

As you reached your house, you asked Seonghwa if he want to come inside which he dismissed with a single shook of his head. 

"Thanks for the company, and for what you've said. Now I wonder why you don't have a girlfriend, you have your way to girls heart easily I'm so sure!"

"She might have been too shallow to notice.." he mumbled to himself.

"You say something?"

"Huh? No, I mean you should go inside so I can finally go home"

"Ah okay, go home safely hwa! I love you!" you tell him in a friendly manner.

How he hoped you would actually mean that. 

⭐ strangely seonghwa is sure that was not a drunk confession, but a real one. he's good at reading expression and he also know you have feelings for yunho by the way you tell him. he's ready to sacrifice his feelings for you.

this chapter is so cliché, sorry for that. i feel bad for seonghwa but well he gotta cope with it. ⭐
