Work has been stressful but at least you have your dearests who would always be there for you. You still worked from morning till late for the whole month, but you admit that you got better. You didn't get so much scolding anymore from mr. Baek, you have improved and is proud of yourself. You haven't met the guys for long, you still owe them your treat. But what can you do.. You don't even have time for yourself.

You and Yunho have been the best support for each other, his father has handed the company under his name lawfully. You're glad for him although it must be harder for him from then.. You know he's tired but still sounds uplifting every time he called you at the end of the day. You're also sorry that you can't visit him every morning as you get worn out yourself. He assured you that he's fine, health comes first so he forbid you for coming early just to have a breakfast together.

You sit up straight on your chair, you see mr. Baek across from you. You've been called by him, looked like he has something to discuss with you. You try hard to hide your exhausted face with a small smile. "What is it mr. Baek?" you got a hunch that he will finally put you into shift just like the other chefs but you don't want to trust it in case you got disappointed.

"So it's been nearly two months since you work here, how do you find it?" he asked you looking serious. You're not sure of what to say, it might be a tricky question, it could even do something with your employment. You shook your head a little to brush the thought off and just be honest with him.

"I've been improving, I can manage better then the first week I was here, I'm proud at myself. Also I feel so thankful to all the crews, I found myself getting along with the crew well." you paused a bit. "I think that working here is the best choice I've made in my entire life, although I'm having a hard time, I can tell that it's worth it." Now you look confidently at his eyes, "I hope that I can work here for long, I promise to only show my best that you won't be worried for me anymore."

Hearing you saying all of that confidently made him curve his lips upwards, you're really something else. "Then," he said crossing his arms over his chest "I'm sorry I didn't do this earlier, sorry for doubting you too, being in this business for long has made me somewhat stuck up, I only wanted the best for my restaurant. I guess you've proved me your value, really appreciate that." He placed his elbows on the table leaning his body forward, "I've arranged your shift, let's have a discussion on that."

You will now work on your shifts; Sunday to Wednesday for day shift goes 9 - 4 pm, Thursday to Saturday for evening shift goes 3 - 10 pm. 

Working in shifts sure made your condition better. You always wake up fresh because you have enough time to rest. Yunho has been doing well himself, he's happy for you as you are for him too. 

You are viewing the city from behind the glass wall, always fascinated every time you visit here; you're in Yunho's office. His office is not too huge nor too small, decorated with modern furnishings; it feel luxurious but humble at the same time, you find it cozy despite the serious vibe it gives off, and you like how he arranged some plants at one corner, the room feel less stuffy.

"What are you thinking of?" you turned to see him just entering the room.

"You're done? Let's eat first~" you said smiling at him.

"You are thinking of something aren't you, tell me now.." he said concerned.

"Tomorrow will be the three thousandth days since he passed, appa.. I'm gonna visit him, it's been a while.."

He approached you slowly embracing your side, "Do you need company? I can rearranged the schedule for tomorrow.."

You looked into his sincere eyes," No, you shouldn't bother, I've been okay by mys-"

"When will you leave tomorrow? I'm gonna inform my assistant, and I didn't take no for answer." you give him a small smile before wrapping your hands around his waist.

--the next day: 10 am--

"Woah the air here is so nice~" you heard him behind you, maybe he want to liven the mood.

"Yeah, this place is so peaceful and beautiful" you respond looking around the cemetery. You see a man from the corner of your eyes, you only got to see his back but you find him familiar yet you can't point your finger out so you just look at the ground stepping down the stairs.

You stand before the tombstone confused. There lied a white lily, just like what you bought but only one. /Who would visit your father's grave other than yourself? You thought that his family didn't care of your father anymore.  You're then reminded by the man from before, was it him? Who might he be?/ 

⭐ your work wouldn't be killing you anymore, more time for you and for him also. you've been taking things slow, you keep the balance between work and your personal life.

you enjoy the moment not caring a thing, who knows till when it will last. ⭐
