Chapter 24

The event continued through the day. I guess I never realized everything that goes into social media groups. I got myself dressed and headed down to rejoin everything. I located Mads again and decided to hang around her. I saw Dixie walk in and I waved her over.

Me "Heyy I didn't know you were coming to this thing."

Dixie "Yeah the whole hype house came. Careful Tony's around here somewhere and he's not your biggest fan right now."

Me "Thanks for the heads up."

A photographer walked up to Mads and I and asked if we wanted to get some shots together.

Me "Ohh I think I'll pass but thank you."

Mads "Oh come on pleeaassee Katie, it'll be fun."

I thought maybe a few shots of us together wouldn't hurt, so I agreed but I didn't want the cliche serious modeling pictures. The whole candid type pictures are more my style. Mads agreed and off we went.

It was so much more fun then I thought it would be. Mads and I were genuinely laughing and having a good time and the photographer was loving it. I noticed Jaden out of the corner of my eye watching us, but his eyes weren't on me. I thought maybe he'd come over and introduce himself but he walked away. Could Jaden be nervous and shy to talk to Mads?

We finished shooting and we went to grab a drink. I didn't see Tony until he pulled me aside.

Tony "Ohh so now you can put your face out there for the world to see for some fake bullshit but you wouldn't for me?"

Me "It's not fake Tony. Bryce actually cares about me."

Tony "Yeah okay princess, believe whatever you want to believe, but this is LA. There's always an underlying motive to everyone's actions."

Me "You don't know what you're talking about Tony. Just because you're an asshole doesn't mean every other guy out there is."

Tony shoved me backwards and I stepped back up to him and slapped him. Before I knew it I felt Jaden's arms wrapped around me pulling me away from it all and Anthony pushing Tony inside.

Jaden "What the fuck Katie..."

Mads "He shoved her first, I saw it."

Mads just step up to my defense. This girl is scoring mad brownie points right now.

Jaden "Is that true?"

Me "Yeah but it's fine Jaden. I'm fine."

Jaden "You're lucky Bryce wasn't out here"

Me "I'm lucky? No Tony's lucky Bryce wasn't out here."

I shook Jaden's grip off of me. I headed inside toward Anthony and Tony. 

Me "I dont know what your problem is. I think you are completely forgetting what happened between us Tony."

Bryce noticed what was going on and walked over.

Bryce "What's going on?"

Tony "Shes crazy dude."

Bryce "Tread lightly Tony.."

Tony "She came onto me out there and I pushed her away and then she slapped me. You may want to try to get your whore under control."

I grabbed Bryce's arm and he looked at me with this blank stare.

Me "Bryce you know that's not true. You know I would never do that to you. You can even ask Mads. She was right there with me."
